I really like the combination of infra-red black and white and color accents, like the golden hair and Ava's blue velvet dress against the dark backgrounds.

I think the original Sin City is a classic. This movie is not as good, but I did enjoy it. The real critique I have is that they waited too long to make it.

Finishes the story from the first and worth the money. Great actors and good performances. Just remember, this jumps around in time cause Marv is still alive.

I was excited with the news of the next Sin City and when I found out it would be in 3D that was it for me. I liked it just as much as the 1st one. Go buy it.

But then again how many sequels are. Best thing about this film is the 3D. Good depth and detail. If you liked Sin City then you will enjoy Dame to Kill for.

I bought this movie blind without having first seeing it in theaters. Not knowing what to expect, other than watching the first one, I was very impressed by the cinematography and how unique it was. I'm glad they followed the format of the original to where your basically watching a live action comic book. Not to mention Jessica Alba....smokin

A good movie but Clive Owen's part was played by Josh Brolin. Josh did a great job but if you have seen the original Sin City then you will miss Clive Owen.

Loved the 1st Sin City (Big comic guy/ Frank Miller fan.) More of the same. Nothing groundbreaking or particularly thrillsome, but that's okay by this guy.

I love this movie i love how the main characters all interact in a great story as u might think theres alot going on at the same time there is but if u watch u can see where it over laps marv nancy n dwight make it awesome eva green knocks it out as ava but jessica albas dance scene to skin city is awesome

best Buy provides another solid exclusive Steelbook release. I wasn't a fan of the sequel, but I still bought it just for the steelbook. It looks amazing!

It still has the same great visual style and angst of the original, but it doesn't have the same great characters. It's still a good movie.

Loved the first one. The second one is pretty decent. I thought JGL's characted should've had a better ending. Good stories throughout the movie though.

I originally hesitated to watch this due to the poor reviews. I was surprised. The feel is a little different, but it is definitely Sin City and a blast.

A great movie and equally as good as the first film. Even with several different actors continuing roles from the prequel, this film doesn't miss a beat!

Enjoyed the continuation of Sin City story. This part completes story line. Love the Black and White adds suspence. 3D was worth the added expense.

Ok movie, felt a bit rushed. Hope we get a director's cut that develops the story/characters more. Worth it if you like the first & nice steelbook.

I tend to be quite skeptical of sequels, so I didn't have a good feeling about this movie, but it surprised me. Don't get me wrong, it is not as good as the first Sin City, but it still delivers with lots of action, gore,attractive women, and noir storytelling. Fans of Eva Green and Jessica Alba will especially like this movie.

Chances are if you're watching Sin City 2 you've seen Sin City. If you're looking for the same experience all over again you won't find it but that isn't all bad. The uniqueness of the graphic effects has worn off, the plot isn't as compelling as the first movie and there was at least one incongruence between them but the cast and performances were better overall and it was more exciting (flashy?) If you liked the first one you'll like the second.
