Really bad plastic/chemical smell when first opened. Recommend complete washing and airing out before using. Advertised with internal light and there is none.

The freezer works very well and fit nicely into the space that we could store it.

Specifications says there is an indicator light when power is on, but there is no light on this freezer. It is a big box that holds a lot of food, but is hard to organize and there is no built in separators. We have used chest freezers and are replacing an older Frigidaire freezer that had a wire basket and separator built into the freezer. It cooled to zero quickly and seems to be very efficient. The control is a knob on the lower exterior that is easily blocked and hard to adjust. The Use&Care manual is so generic it is a joke. The manual covers upright and chest freezers and has no real value. Not real happy I purchased this freezer.

Purchased late fall 2013 and iced up inside on one wall as soon as we got it but seemed to work otherwise. This summer unit unable to keep temperature below 40 degrees. Spent hours trying to reach Electrolux customer service on the phone. Finally got a technician out to check unit - compressor toast. Weeks have passed and still haven't heard anything from Electrolux on a warranty replacement.

I ordered this over another model because I wanted the "power on" light that this claimed to have. It doesn't. I had to wait nearly a week for delivery only to find out that it was missing the feature I wanted and this website claimed it had. Best Buy needs to do a better job of verifying that their website's information is correct.
