The cycle may have been automatically lengthened to reach key temperatures due to factors such as a cool water supply or a large load of dishes. Choose lower-temperature options to shorten the cycle. I have numbness in my fingers and have a hard time opening as my hand slips off the handle opening it. I added a knob on left side so I can pull open as it unlocks

Didn't realize it does not have a light wash options for a minimal load. Seems to run longer than my previous KitchenAid on normal cycle.

If your normal cycle is taking longer than the time provided, we recommend choosing a lower temperature option to shorten the cycle.
