This is a lousy product. It would work great fir awhile and then I would find my food all unfrozen for no reason. I started keeping my eye on this freezer and luckily I didn't lose at lot of food when these 3 seperate failure events happened during the last eight months.. Two days ago it quit and now it won't freeze at all. The only saving grace is this junk is still underr warranty. I wonder how hard it will be to get a new one? Warning buyers of tthis model, you will get no warning anything is wrong until you find your food is unfrozen if this freezer has a problem.

DO. NOT. BUY. THIS. FREEZER. I purchased this in Feb 2011 and it died in May 2012. All my food went bad and smelled up our entire house. It's nonfunctional now and neither Frigidaire nor Best Buy will do anything for me. This is a low quality piece of garbage. Save your money and DO NOT BUY THIS.

After owning this Frigidaire freezer for 1.5 weeks, the freezer stopped cooling. While the freezer sounded like it was still on and cooling, we discovered that the inside of the freezer was no longer cold and all the freezer contents were defrosted and ruined, including 6 weeks of pumped milk for our baby! After this irreplaceable loss we will not buy another Frigidaire or Electrolux product again. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand so you can save yourself from losing all the valuable contents of your freezer to a poorly made appliance like Frigidaire! Stay away from Frigidaire! BEWARE of this JUNK PRODUCT!

We bought the freezer because we needed a little more space to freeze meals and some steaks that were given to us as a gift. It seemed to be working great and then one day I go to get something out of it and everything was hot. It had someone shut off but the light was still on it was just not working. Then this happened three more times over eight months. A horrible product if you ask me.

Bought this freezer in december, only lasted 8 months then quit working. Lost a whole freezer full of breast milk. Would not buy again.

We bought it in April. Six months later in October all of the food defrosted, but the light in front is still green, so it is still getting power.

Didn't notice until we got home that there is not a safety latch of any kind.
