Works good during the warm summer, doesnt get extremely cold during very hot days. The machine is louder than expected since the box sound it was very quiet thats what we expected, yet it makes a rattling noise and you can here the motor working hard. It's good for a small room but probably shouldnt be a main cooling source.

This AC kept me and my baby cool over the hot summer

I needed a small energy efficient air conditioner to cool my craft room next to the attic - this fits the bill and is quiet without a noise distraction.

Bought two of these to replace the two 6000btu frigidaires that I threw out. Should have kept the old ones. They were poorly built and things like the directional fins were jammed in cockeyed. Underneath ea. unit are 8 screw holes to attach the jam plate and only two screws are inserted. They are awfully loud and one of them screams like an incoming rocket when the compressor turns off. My overall impression is that frigidaire is cutting corners including having them built overseas. Plan to spend a couple of hours on ea. one to install and to fix the terrible workmanship.

Cools my room (15x10) within 3 minutes and quit too

This works perfect for a 300-400sq ft bedroom ..makes a hissing sound but being I have 2 that is just the noise they make

I purchased 2 of these for 2 different bed rooms. I thought having a remote control would be redundant for a bed room, but I use it all the time. It saves me from having to get out of bed to turn it on or off.

Exactly what we were looking for. We needed a small, economical air conditioner for a bedroom and this fits perfect.

Great AC for an average living room, won't cool much more space than that. Love the remote too.

For a large bedroom with an attached full bath, it keeps a steady temperature. However, the noise can be annoying when trying to get to sleep.

In a bedroom, cools nicely, love the economy mode & the remote.

This a/c works well in my house. We have it in a center room of my apartment and it keeps the majority of the floor cool. Never use the remote but I'm happy the unit came with one.

Wanted air conditioner that ran quieter and stronger for bedroom so I could sleep. This does the job and amount of cold air is terrific. I am able to sleep through the night.

I bouth 2... My daugther don't sleep when it is on!!!!They sound like a helycopter!!!! Look like everything is loose inside!!! Don't buy it!!!
