This is a great cooktop, grates are substantial and very heavy. Takes a bit to get used to cooking on it because the elevation is a couple inches above counter height when installed.

We upgraded from a GE that was 15 years old. Wish we would have done it a lot sooner! The 5 burners provide so much cooking space. It is wonderful!

Looks great, awesome to have knobs in front as opposed to side. Grates are heavy & can move pans easily from burner to burner.

This cooktop is very spacious. Looks great in stainless steel with black countertops.

DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY - they cancelled three installs on me, two of them the day of when they were supposed to already be here. The manager couldn't help me and blamed it on Frididaire, when it was really they couldn't get my oven and cooktop on a truck from their Tracy store to my location. They lied, and didn't do anything to help me. Then they refused to refund the $200 tech support they talked me into buying for a discount on all the installs and warranties. They have lost my business for good and I will not recommend using them to anyone. They have completely ruined my remodel timing now and don't even care.

I rarely write review but when an item is so below its average rating then I feel obligated to do so. I didn't have a good perception of the brand but given high review decided to go for it and now I'm disappointed as one of the burners stopped working after 5 months!

The only thing I liked was 5 burners , but stainless steel gas cooktop is a joke ! It leaves white spots all over the cook top and the spots are resistant to all the cleaners including Frigidaire cleaner which I was asked to try . It looks horrible and disgusting and I would strongly not recommend because this is cosmetic disfigurement and cannot be replaced free per the company policy ! The grids as mentioned by some are heavy to lift and have no luster and the fibers from everything from sponge, microfiber wash clothes stick to them . Very Very disappointed . None of stainless steels have the problem that I have encountered with this Frigidaire product !
