Q: This range was in a house we bought. I noticed yesterday that after our house cleaner last came, it appears the stickers designating the burners and the Frigidaire logo were scrubbed off (or partially off). Is there a way to purchase replacements?

A: Thank you for reaching out to us, Hillary! When cleaning the cooktop, it is recommended to not use other liquid cleaners, abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or some paper towels being that they will damage the finish. So that we can gain a little more insight of any items or parts you are needing, please contact us at 1-800-374-4432 Monday-Friday 8:30 am-8 pm EST. -Ciara

Q: Shopped for a cooktop at Best Buy and was told technician can come to house to measure for new cooktop (going from downdraft to reg. 30" cooktop) to make sure granite opening is ok and to advise if new ductwork will be necessary. Is this correct info?

A: We just purchased this. We measured our old one which was 30”. This one fit perfectly fine into what we had with extra room to spare if needed. You can print off the specs and give it to your granite guy. You can also just lift up the one you have and measure the cut out that’s previously there.

Q: Is the frigidaire cooktop Galaxy knobs metal or plastic? Is the middle burner close to,the other burners making pots difficul to put on the burners? Does, the grids lift from the hinges?

A: The knobs are metal. Middle burner has lots of space around it. Have not had crowding of pots. No hinges on the grates, there are 3 and they just lift right up!

Q: Besides warm soap and water, what can I use to clean my Frigidaire gas cooktop to help prevent water and food stains? Also, the side of my cooktop is starting to get small spots. I have only been carefully using this new cooktop for a month!

A: Hi, Lee! Thanks for reaching out. When cleaning the cooktop, it is recommended to not use other liquid cleaners, abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or some paper towels being that they will damage the finish. We only recommend hot soapy water and a soft cloth for cleaning. We hope this was helpful. ~ If we can be of any further assistance in any way, please connect with our Live Chat team on our website or through our Customer Support line at 1-800-374-4432 (M-F, 8:30 AM-8 PM EST). ~ Christy

A: Hi, MelS! The cooktop insert is 4.5 inches deep. We recommend an 8-inch deep cutout in the countertop. Check out the installation instructions on our website for further details on the cutout requirements! ~Ashton
