great product for the price and quick and easy install. will definitely purchase this filter again.

Fairly easy to install. This is the second time I have used this product.

The filter was reasonably priced and easy to install. The staff was helpful in guiding me as to the appropriate filter to purchase.

My only problem with this filter is that it will have to be replaced fairly often.

Everyone who has well water should have one of these on there refrigerator!

The filter will not turn fully to lock in place. No water comes out in my may tag side by side.

This inline water filter came missing the hardware to hook it up and the clamshell packaging was cut open and the filter looked as if it had been in dirt and it appeared to have been already used!!! I immediately submitted for a refund. Problem, I’m disabled and can’t get out much, Plus, we are in a pandemic and we are not allowed out!!! Thanks for nothing Best Buy!!! How could you allow a piece of trash, LITERALLY, like this to be sold under your name?! It should have been thrown out not resold!!!!!!!!

The filter works seemslessly and produces a crisp tasting water. It is very easy to install and maintain.

Very easy to install. Works great for home use. Never and problems. Ice is great and water taste great.

comes with 2 brass threaded compression fittings to screw into the filter, then inline with your fridge water line, one end of this fitting is cut specifically for the water line, the other side has finer threads for the filter. apply teflon tape (not included) to all threads to prevent leaks, i always do about 2 layers of tape. then attach to the line. if you can't turn a bolt, you probably can't install this filter.

We purchased this unit as a drop in for our new refrigerator / ice-maker water line as a cost effective way to filter the water for the ice cubs a bit. We instead found the unit uses brass fittings with plastic threads. This is a general no-no as metal on plastic makes it extremely easy to cross-thread and/or maintain a proper seal. Our first attempt we connected the brass fittings to our existing line and connected the unit afterward to prevent over-tightening and cross-threading, but none-the-less we had a fairly significant leak. We removed the unit, added a little plumbers tape to the brass fittings and tried one more time. The unit leaked significantly less, but none-the-less sprayed water under pressure. After removal and trial a third time which resulted in charcoal black water dripping on the floor we decided three strikes and you're out! It should also be noted that connecting these inline to an existing ice-maker may leave air in the lines which can (and did in our case) result in charcoal black water spraying throughout the interior of our freezer. In the end, this is a case of you get what you pay for. The price was great, but the cleanup it required left a bad taste in my mouth.

I tried to use it for my samsung and it would not screw in and would have been too big even if it did screw in. Not universal obviously
