Best Furious to date. This is the best one so far - great car scenes, death defying stunts, over the top villains and hot girls/cars/guys - what's not to love? This is a great guy movie - it is also a great girls night out movie, and a great date movie - it truly has something for everyone.
This has everything you expect from the Furious franchise, but an even bigger focus on family. The funny thing is, after watching this, it made me think a lot of the Disney animated movie Lilo & Stitch :).
I loved the addition of Kurt Russell, as well as Jason Statham, who plays pretty much the same character he always plays, just on the villain side this time.
Amazing what they did with this movie from a continuity and filming perspective given the timing of the situation with Paul Walker, all I can say is wow, and there has to be some sort of award for this movie this year. The tribute at the end was extremely moving, and if you are a Paul Walker fan, you might find yourself welling up just a bit (or more). Made me think a bit about my friends as well.
So go have a great time and don't miss this one! If you haven't seen the others in the franchise, make sure to see what you've missed - it helps make the story that much more interesting. But regardless, it is a heck of a ride!

A fitting end to the series?

Personally, I like the 7th and likely final installment of the F&F franchise.
Yes it contained even more outrages car stunts that really make you strain to believe them. Like the para-drop sequence. Visually cute, and effective for the movie, but in an effort to do bigger and wilder stunts; I thought this was a bit overdone. I mean the building crashing stunt was gripping and all, but it was done in Black Moon Rising, and I expected a bit more.
Acting was about par for the previous movies, so it was acceptable, if a bit more juvenile than ever.
But the end sequence, as a tribute to Paul Walker was the best part of the movie. I confess with all the hype over his death, and leaving the movie unfinished, I really didn't know what to expect.
But it was well done and in very good taste.
A very good way to pay respects and finish the movie.

Note: This review is mostly for the steelbook and not the actual blu-ray disc.
Sturdy case with a high gloss design on the front and back, that looks great if you complete the entire steelbook set. Would rate it 4/5. Knocked it one point for having no inside artwork.
Furious 7 blu-ray looks and sounds incredible, a fitting release to a production that had to deal with the untimely circumstances with Paul Walker's passing. If you've been a fan of this series from the beginning, you wont be disappointed with this release: Picture quality is top notch, the audio is amazing and the new steelbook continued the Best Buy artwork/design theme from the past six releases. I can only hope that when Furious 8 arrives on blu-ray, Best Buy puts out another similar steelbook.
- Picture: 5/5
- Audio: 5/5
- Steelbook: 4/5

Movie Review:
The movie is one of the best in the series (Fast Five is my Favorite), Paul Walker was a fantastic actor and this movie did a great way of tributing/honoring him and his character. The Movie is very action packed and the storyline is well done along with the direction/editing and the stunt work is WOW.
Steelbook Review:
I love getting steelbooks and this one is definite buy, The finish of the steelbook is metal (but it can be easily dented), but it's good case the finish of steenbok is smooth. The artwork in the front is well done and the back too. No fancy artwork in the case just silver, Disc are plain but the blu-ray is made to where you can through it. Also comes with a digital code which is a plus and easy to redeem online.
MOVIE is 5 Stars
Case is a collectable and worth the buy.

First off, this is not a film that you watch because it's some sort of masterpiece of cinema; It is not. It does not make very much sense from the perspectives of plot, character motivation/development, and we will not even go into physics since that idea went out the window somewhere around the third entry in the series...
What this really represents is a terrific, action-packed, popcorn movie; Lots of fun, expensive cars, and a surprisingly touching tribute to the late Paul Walker. If you like the series, this is right in line, and actually one of the better titles. Probably worth 4.5/5 stars.
HOWEVER, this review is also for the Best Buy Steelbook edition, which is significantly less impressive. I have become rather enamored with Steelbook cases over the years, and already had the preceding two titles in Steelbook, so this seemed an obvious winner. Unfortunately, the quality is decidedly lesser, with a flimsy, glossy metal surface. The image on the case seems alright, as if it were a dye sublimation print, but the lack of any texturing, and lack of any rigidity make it a disappointment. Same blu-ray and DVD content as other packaging (I work at a large public library, so I checked the discs). Closer to 2.5 or 3 / 5
Conclusion: Very fun film, if you like the genre. And if you care to have the steelbook, and it's on sale, great. If it's more expensive, I would say to skip it. Overall 4/5 stars.

This is the first time a "Fast and Furious" movie actually had me in tears at the end. I'm a very big, longtime fan of Paul Walker and this film gave a better and more satisfying goodbye to Paul Walker and his character of Brian than I could ever have hoped or asked for. Beyond that, I'd rank this movie as tied for #1 with "Fast Five" in the franchise. I especially appreciated all the extra features, and it was great to see that pretty much every stunt and effect was done for real instead of computers – you can definitely feel the difference. The main "family" is still as impeccable and endearing as ever. The story and direction was outstanding and it was awesome to see Kurt Russell in this movie!!

Needless to say, the Fast and the Furious franchise is beloved by the fanbase and has been racing on screens for many years. They recently introduced new characters into the franchise such as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. This film, in addition to being a great conclusion to the series, wraps up or follows up on some open-ending questions that remained from the previous films in the series, such as the fate of the Michelle Rodriguez character. The character of Jason Statham makes for an excellent antagonist, and without giving away too much of the plot, there is follow-up to an event that happened early in the series which fans have been waiting for the answer to for a long time.

As a fanatical individual of all the previous fast and the furious movies, I wasn't sure what I was going to expect out of the latest movie. After all, they had just brought down a plane with harpoons in the sixth installment. Having not seen Furious 7 in theaters before hand I was anxious to get my copy of this movie and it never once let me down while watching it. The actors, directors and writers seem to clue in on all the fantasies that fans of this series could dream up and make them a reality. I highly recommend this movie and cannot wait until production starts on what will most likely be the eighth and final installment in the years to come.

First of all, the packaging and shipment went very well with no issues. I love Best Buy's pick up in store and shipping if I cannot make it to the store. Two thumbs up for that.
I am an avid movie collector, and a huge Fast and Furious fan since the first one came out. This one is a little more emotional because of Paul Walker, but they did a great job and the Dubai scene was just a combination of "no that would never ever happen" to "hilariousness". Even the corny scenes weren't terribly corny. Loved it. I will continue to watch until they start to get as annoying as the Terminator movies. Well, they might be already there. But whatever.

Many movie series struggle to turn out a quality product for long, let alone try to figure out what to do in the best way possible when you loose a member of the team that's been there since day one. The FF team overcame the struggles and made a movie that I was entertained the entire time with and gave an ending that was just a perfect send off for Paul Walker. What was great about the ending is it still allowed them to continue on with the series without Paul. I would recommend this to anyone who has enjoyed these movies in the past or was a fan of Paul Walker.

I saw this when it went into theaters, and enjoyed every second of it. This franchise is still going strong even after seven movies. As far as action scenes are concerned this movie is hard to beat. There is one action segment that begins with cars parachuting out of a plane that is very long but is so well choreographed and photographed that it has you on the edge of your seat the entire time.
The picture and audio quality are top notch, both 5 out of 5 If you enjoyed the others in the series, you can't go wrong. Buy the movie, it's well worth it and has lots of re-playable value to it.

Although I wondered how they could possibly make yet another movie in this series good, they ended up totally surprising me with making it great! Not only is the plot exciting, but the action-packed script also has its fair share of humor and sorrow, which all make for a great movie IMHO. Also, the surround sound was fantastic during the action scenes and picture was spot-on...so with that being said, I say keep making them if they can, but it'll be interesting to see how good the next is short of the loss of one of the primary actors, who most everyone knows about by this point.

Wow this movie makes me cry every time. The action is amazing. And for the haters out there...saying that the Fast & Furious movies are too over the top and not believable...they actually DID parachute the cars from a plane (it's not just cgi). They honored Paul Walker's memory in the best way possible. I'm so happy they didn't scrap the movie or his footage. They did a great job with the storyline. I love my limited edition steel book dvd. I don't usually buy dvd's anymore but I had to have a physical copy of this movie. And this was the best version I could buy!

IMHO This was the best Fast and Furious movie made. There were of course the best stunt work done with cars that you would never imagine and that wasn't even done cgi technology. Many sly jokes between the cast and to me the nicest was the tribute to Paul Walker in a way that it doesn't mess with the storytelling. Of course they just can't end it here, you know there's more coming. But this one's the best. Get the blue ray! I did have to exchange my disc...chappy discs now cheaply made but I love the fact I can stream it nowadays with my digital copy.

My fandom begins when I had a dodge neon with racing stripes and all my buddies had Honda's back in the late 90's. I traded up for a Honda and that's when the first one in the series hit. I grew up on these films and even though I didn't know Walker personally, this one really hit home because I felt like we all grew up together. Strange, but you have that same type of family love when you hang out with your car crew so this movie fits perfectly. Anyways, the film was one of the best in the series. The action was awesome and so was the homage to Walker!
