HDR for this movie offers some bright scenes, the 4k looks great. The sound is great too! The scene early on where they are firing into the trees and rounds are whizzing past them sounds great in atmos.

Brad Pitt's character is awesome and the sound effects and 4k are worth it alone when the tanks are crawling over the ground

Drama and suspense are heavy in this war drama that's akin to saving private Ryan or black hawk down. Brad Pitt is excellent.

This is a nice but subtle upgrade to the image in the Blu-Ray version, with a very good improvement in the audio.

After just seeing the film opening day in theaters I am already anxious to get the BluRay DVD. The movie was gut wrenching and excellent. After more than 50 years of being a WWII Historian with emphasis on Armor, someone has finally made "The Tank Movie" of all time. Also, the film goes down in history for having the first REAL German Tiger 1 ever seen live in film history. The Tiger 131 can be seen all over YouTube at the Bovington Tank Museums Tank Fest. Movie theaters do play the sound painfully loud and that only made the experience more gut wrenching. To have the new recliner seats in theaters today literally vibrating from the concussions certainly didn't help. I think what makes it worse for an Armor buff and WWII enthusiast is knowing the details and weapons capabilities of that period. Just hearing the word Panzerfaust makes one cringe. They certainly portrayed the statistics right in needing 4 - 5 Shermans to overwhelm one Tiger. I also have a new found respect for Shermans as I never thought they could endure so much. This film has now surpassed Saving Pvt Ryan as the most fierce WWII film I have seen to date. I've read that the film makers consulted with many British WWII Tankers while making this film. I can see and appreciate the authenticity their life's memories have contributed to the details of the film. I rarely go to the theaters ever anymore, but this film I knew I would have to see opening day!!

Movie is amazing and the steelbook cover is amazing and a big plus is that you also get the digital copy of the movie.

Wow...what movie. I wanted to see it in the theater but my wife had surgery while it was playing and I never made it. Bought it the first day it was available on Blu-ray. This is one of the most realistic WWII movies I have seen. I have read numerous eye-witness accounts of WWII battles and seen documentaries and theatrical movies as well but seldom have I seen a work of fiction which so accurately portrayed what our fathers and grandfathers went through during the war. I realize that a great deal of what was in the movie used CGI but the people working the keyboards knew exactly what they were doing. The acting was excellent although I felt that the tank crew could have toned it down just a bit. Brad Pitt certainly conveyed what a tank commander facing heavy odds must have felt during the last days of the war. The costuming was perfect and the weapons extremely accurate, right down to the pin-up girl on the grips of Pitt's .45 revolver. The movie bogged down one time, when the tankers went home with the German girl and her mother. While I understood what the director was trying to say, it just seemed to run on and on. I certainly recommend this movie for anyone wanting to see a realistic account of tank warfare during WWII but be warned that it is VERY realistic and may be too intense for some viewers, especially anyone who has seen combat first-hand.

Brad Pitt being awesome Brad Pitt in a war movie that I'm usually not into but the good Pitt-age made it a great film.

One of my favorite movies of all time. Great cast. Action throughout most of movie. Must see for any fans of war movies
