I liked the movie overall but it can be very predictable and droll most other times. There are several sequnces with Bruce Willis where you think to your self, 'Am I watching Die Hard 4 again?' Overall worth watching but don't expect depth of plot or actors being allowed to spread their wings, it somehow seems very constrained, like they weren't allowed to be themselves.

This movie should have been called Redemption instead of Retaliation, because it did just that. With the help of "The Rock" and a cameo role by Bruce Willis, GI Joe: Retaliation is a huge improvement from the first movie. Having the movie based from a cartoon, the plot is reasonably believable and the action is also. If you enjoyed the show as a kid, you will enjoy this movie.

I actually like this movie better than its predecessor, it has good action and SFX. Not too many people enjoyed this but just sit down and give it a watch and its not too bad, way better than the new Snake Eyes movie.

great over all movie, still unsure if i like as much as 1st Joe movie, however that is always personal preference. I have a very top notch seperates system not items sold here sadly, plus my HD TV was ISF calibrated by one of the best so image quality is always outstanding on any video material that is also outstanding, however if video is medioctor, then so is image.

Where the hell are the Crimson Twins?? I hope they are in the next installment. I think my enjoyment of the movie exceeded the sum of its parts mostly for its nostalgia because I used to play with them as a kid. Besides that the movie really is visually fantastic as viewed on my samsung led 3d tv. I would recommend this purchase to anyone with a 3d tv.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation is a good follow-up to the first flick that tries to capture the magic but falls a little short on plot. It has excellent action sequences, and if your a fan of the old Joe cartoon then you will appreciate the inclusion of several lesser known Joes.

I have always loved the GI-Joe franchise since I been a kid. This mvie has some of the best action sequences and the story isn't half bad. Will it garnish it an Oscar? Of course not, but it will make you smile whenever you see the explosion come up in the scenes... and there are plenty of scenes that has plenty of explosion. So if you are a action junky and just want a decent movie to spend some good, times with friends, kids, and/ or family, look no further. Hope you enjoy the movie!

Overall a good action movie although I prefer the first one more. Some of the main characters were cast different then in the first one which I am not a fan of. Story was good, effects and visuals were top notch. Missed the Baroness in this one and Destros role not as large but I can see how they left it open enough for another sequel.

I grew up with GI Joe; with that being said I can't bad mouth this movie! I loved the first one, bought this one and will see the next one too! If you are looking for a stirring plot and character development, this is not your movie. If you are looking for a fun movie, with good action and special effects then buy this one. I can't believe critics try to rate every movie based on skill of acting, plot, and character development. C'mon folks, it's G.I. Joe.... YO JOE!

As I stated before on Rise of Cobra the sound is definitely improved n worth the upgrade if you’re comfortable with the price. For me 10- was it. A digital copy added is a nice bonus

Better of the two. A surprisingly watchable sequel. A good cast and the action is top notch. A show that gets better with repeat viewing, despite the tongue-in-cheek title. Accept it for what it is and enjoy. I though the 4K picture was pretty good. The sound is outstanding. Pick it up.

This movie is intended for fans of the old G.I. Joe franchise - lots of action and gunfights, but if you looking for an Oscar winning movie, this isn't for you. This version has a DVD Copy for those road trips and a digital copy as well for iTunes or UltaViolet, also good for travel away from your house.

My wife and I really enjoyed this movie. It is action from beginning to end. The 3D is very good with the action and explosions. During one scene I actually jumped in my chair as something was coming at me. The story was interesting as it involved a possible nuclear war. Which is a hot topic today. We just sat back relaxed and enjoyed this action filled movie, It was fun

This is a much better movie than the first G.I. Joe, but way different than what I grew up watching. I am not going to go into detail because I am not going to spoil it, you have to watch it for yourself. Great banter between characters, awesome special effects. I did enjoy it.

As far as the GI JOE series goes, I did enjoy this one. It didn't blow my mind but it kept me captivated. The 3D however was excellent and was what compelled me to purchase the movie, too bad 3D is no longer being supported much.

the movie was OK, not as much action as the original and not as true to the GI Joe legend. Bruce Willis gave some comic relief.. The move could have used more action scenes and killing off Duke at the beginning was a real let down, this was a remake with virtually new actors,

Let's be honest, these movies nowhere lived up to our imaginations, but they were fun. I would have like to see more of the original cast in the 2nd movie, but we get what got. Too bad they cannot quite see to get the formula right for G.I. Joe. Now Hasbro doesn't make the toys anymore. Wish they used the films to make a more serious version of Joe.

My son is at the age of watching action superhero movies. Watching with him seeing how excited he was reminded me when I first watched GI Joe action movies! Pure enjoyment with 10 old kids!

This movie is a decent addition to the G.I.Joe franchise. The plot, pace and acting were good considering this was an action movie. The deft camera work lent itself to the great, blinding fight scenes. I only wish there could have been a couple more fight scenes.

I really like this second movie about the Hasbro toy line that is GIJoe! I have been a fan of the toys and cartoons since I was a kid and have been waiting for a live action movie forever! I am glad that have been able to make two movies so far! Awesome lineup of actors involved in movie and they did a great job and the action was amazing! Can't wait for a third movie!!! YO JOE!!!!!
