Good quality mini fridge which has small freezer too

Perfectly good fridge which, with a little creativity, holds all the food we need. We are a couple who eat lots of vegetables, so having this is pretty good. It replaces a larger fridge that broke. We are very happy having such a cheap, efficient little refrigerator!

It is everything you expect a fridge to be. It keeps our beverages cold. That's already a big check on your list, for a compact fridge. It is compact enough to be placed anywhere. I placed it by our patio where it can be hot at times (not under the sun, but hot 90 degree California summer hot) and it still keeps the drinks and snack inside nice and cool. The best feature this one has though is, of course, its LOOK. It is beautifully made! The retro look is spot-on: its shape adds character to the room I placed it on, its shade of green is surprisingly popping but subtle and that handle just adds the right touch to the whole aesthetic. The fridge itself brings character to the whole place! It is a compact fridge. It is cute and beautiful-- I have never put those two words to describe anything except on this fridge, because it is truly Cutie-ful!

My daughter used it for 1 year in her dorm and I then sold it to my girlfriend who now stores her cold beer in it!!!! Still working great.

I use to have a minifridge in my room to keep my beverages cold and some food I eat when I'm relaxing, so I decided it was time to replace my old minifridge. I have another Galanz product and I'm really happy with which make me trust this brand. I got this mini fridge which has this really cool retro design, I think is one of the reason I like this products. It is easy to set up and use, the shelfs are easy to clean and the space inside is well distributed, there are a couple of shelfs for regular cans and the little freezer compartment that it has this little door that gives it a plus. The size is small and the color avocado truly evokes the old days appliances, if you need a mini-fridge for a room or small space, this is perfect for you.

I bought this fridge for my bedroom as a college student since it advertised storing leftovers and perishables, however I would never recommend you do so with this fridge. The temperature is ALWAYS changing because thr fridge itself constantly turns on and off, which obviously defeats the purpose of putting anything perishable in this fridge and completely minimizes the time you have with any food placed inside. Do not "Store your leftovers and perishables in this 2.5 cu. ft. Galanz Retro Style compact refrigerator." The temperature change makes the freezer melt everything several times a day. There is no "precise temperature control". Perhaps this fridge can be used solely for drinks, however that is not what was advertised. I bought this fridge less than a year ago and have been having this issue for months, if not since day 1. My friend has the same fridge and it happens with hers too. I would recommend another fridge to purchase in general. It is very pretty, but sadly does not function the way it should. The fridge itself is good quality, but again, does not do what was stated in the description. The temperature control inside does immediately start working when adjusted, so for that I will give it two stars, since if you really wanted to, you could switch it colder every time it turns off to try and ensure a constant temperature, but again, this happens many times a day.

We purchased this for drinks for our lobby. It was a little smaller than I expected but it looks great in our space. Holds quite a bit.

So far, I am really enjoying the Galanz Retro 2.5 Compact Fridge in Surf Green. It fits perfectly under a portion of my desk at work so now I don’t have to use the communal mini fridge everyone else uses. This is a huge upgrade for me since now I don’t have to worry about dealing with everyone else’s rotting food. Now back to the review! When I first unboxed the fridge, it looked like there was a small scratch on one of the sides but upon closer inspection, I realized there was a protective film that extended from the bottom of one side all the way across the top but under the removable lid and then back down the other side to the bottom and the scratch was only on this protective film. The film is similar to what normally comes on the edges of brand new televisions, monitors, etc. and I assumed it was supposed to be removed but it was more difficult to remove completely than I expected. Since it is one continuous piece of film, I had to remove the lid and another plastic piece under the lid which connects the door and all of this required unscrewing multiple screws since these pieces were installed on top of the plastic film. When I initially removed the lid, I discovered a thick piece of Styrofoam filled the majority of the void between the top of the lid and the top of the fridge. I wasn’t sure if I should remove it since without it, the top of the lid wouldn’t be able to support much weight if you put something on top of the fridge so I decided to leave this piece of Styrofoam in place after successfully removing the protective film. I didn’t notice anything in the limited instructions that said anything about this extra piece of Styrofoam or the protective film and I’m still not entirely sure whether or not the protective film is even supposed to be removed but it isn’t a big deal and the main thing is the fridge does what it is supposed to do. Another random note: While the lid was removed, I noticed there were holes to mount the door on the left side of the unit but given the design of the door and the handle, it wouldn’t really make sense to try and mount the door on the left. It might be possible if you absolutely needed to have the door open the other way and don’t mind the door appearing upside down, but I doubt anyone would ever really be in such a position. It should also be noted that the lid unnecessarily adds about 2-3 inches of height to the unit when installed so if you leave it off, it may not look as nice but it saves quite a bit of space. I really like the retro design and like I said, the fridge does what it is supposed to do so if you like the retro look and are in need of a small fridge that works really well, I highly recommend this Galanz Retro 2.5 Compact Fridge.

Excellent asthetics combined with function, the retro look and reliable nature of this fridge makes it a perfect addition to any room.

It is for me Granddaughters dorm room. I like it She loves it is all that matters at this point and time! I also purchased a matching mini microwave!

This refrigerator works great and looks great... especially next to the matching microwave! Keeps everything nice and cold.

Pros:It’s a good fit for my office. It adds color and character! Cons: It barely fit under the desk because of round top. I believe it’s scratched. Too expensive.

Bought this s as a gift for my dad and he loves it. Got the Geek Squad protection for 4 years too; totally worth it.
