Very average entry into the "found footage" sub-genre. I will always give these films a chance because I still enjoy them but The Gallows was just a dud. On a rainy Sunday afternoon, check it out.

Another handheld camera horror film based in a locked down high school. I think the idea was decent and there were creepy enough moments to sustain interest. The Gallows is a decent diversion.

It's not the BEST horror movie but it is a very entertaining one. Yes, it relies on a number of jump scares but it also uses genuine fear inducing imagery which can be VERY effective.

What can I say, it was another hand held horror movie. Not sure what else I can say about it. It was okay.... Except the ending that went off the deep end. Big shock I know!

It was ok. New twist on old theme, but still enjoyable for the Halloween movie month, there are certainly better films out there, but there are also way worse ones.

This was an awesome movie different than the scary movies they've been putting out. If you want the creeped out ghost feeling watch this.

As a theatre major I really enjoyed enjoyed this movie, especially the format in which it was shot. Blair Witch style.
