Great box set, but some of the discs have scratches or skips, watch through as soon as you can and inspect the discs. Definitely worth it on sale! Also the digital codes in this edition are no longer active so you’re just getting the physical discs now.

A tad expensive but definitely worth it for the great quality

HBO charges a lot for their home video releases even in an era where streaming dominates over physical media but in this case you're getting an amazing value. Whether you're a devoted fan who has read all of George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels or a casual viewer trying to follow this epic television series then this set has everything you need to get the most out of it. Besides getting the show in gorgeous 4K you get such a wealth of well produced supplementals that explain the complex world of Westeros and its many families and legends in great detail. This is essential television in a stunning package!

I bought this a gew days ago, and was starting to have buyers remorse until I made myself sit down and watch The Battle of the Bast****. OMG the pucture is stunning, the sound is stunning, Bolton dying is stunning. 10/10. It completely fixes the issues that came with only streaming like black crushing (you can actually see the the battle in season 8 episode 3), and adds so much detail that I never noticed. Definitely worth the $200 msrp, even better when on sale.

A great series that deserves more recognition for what it was

4K GOT set is a great set. Picture is sharp and deep in detail, and the sound is Awesome! For GOT fans is a must get.. Highly recommended!!

Honestly this is the best this show has ever looked. The sound with Dolby atmos is off the charts.

Please note that the this 4K UHD release is great like other describe (picture and sound) and in terms of the quality of the box set. But, before purchasing know that while this includes a code for digital copy, the code ran out in 2022 and WB will not be able to generate a new code for this release. So, if you need or want a complete set / all in one collectors edition (UHD, Blue-Ray and Digital) this unfortunately will not be the one to get. I would only purchase this if you want a definitive UHD physical copy fr GOT which this is.

This is a review of the set and quality -- there have been no fewer than 9 instances of the video freezing or going into an acid-fueled color scheme that prompted a removal of the disc before working perfectly when put back in. This was on both a blu-ray player and the disc drive within the Series X.

I really dislike the packaging. The cases are annoying having to juggle discs to get the one you want out to watch. The show was great. Clarity and sound amazing. Definitely a step up in quality.

Great series, especially in UHD and dolby atmos track is great. Don't hesitate at this price. HDR is really good as well, especially in the really dark scenes, the detail is incredible.

Loved being able to watch the entire series. Sad that it was cancelled after that because it’s a great show!

All of the discs were in good condition and played well on Panasonic UB820 and PS5. This video is 5/5 and Audio 5/5. Great for any fan of Game of Thrones.

The 4K blurays are excellent. Picture and Audio quality are great. The only downer was the digital downloads were expired.

Only draw back was that the digital code was expired when I bout the set. Minus one star (I should have read the box details)

If you're reading this, you're a fan of GOT so I'm not going to waste time reviewing the series itself. I apologize in advance, but since this is such a lengthy box set, I have only recently finished viewing the entire televised series ONLY, and NOT the extras. I have an LG B6P using a Oppo UDP 205 disc player. The PQ & sound quality are excellent. I only have a 5.1 sound system so I cannot comment on Atmos. Season 7, Disc 2 Episode 6 in my collection is defective. There is slight momentary freezing about 10 minutes in. The disc stops playing for a couple of seconds and then resumes. The disc also froze up completely about 40 minutes into the same episode when I first played it. I played it back later to take note and it only froze up very briefly at the 10 minute mark but the rest of the disc played flawlessly on the Oppo-strange. There is a mega thread at Blu Ray.com on this box set with people commenting that they have similar issues with their discs freezing up. The freezing is random-it's happening on different discs for everyone apparently. There's also random audio issues where the dialog is coming from the surround speakers rather than the center channel. I had this happen to me once for a few seconds on one disc. I'm willing to live with what I have rather than return the ENTIRE box set to BB and risk the NEW one having perhaps even more issues. For me, it's not that big of a deal breaker compared to what others are experiencing. But then again, I've yet to play any Extras... I would recommend this but wait till it gets cheaper :)

Some of the best looking 4k discs I own! Picture is Stunning in Dolby vision, haven’t checked all the discs, heard about problems with skipping I’ll check it it
