this movie flew under the radar it did not get much publicity has a very good cast .if you liked la confidential one of my favorite movies you will sure to like gangster squad set in the 40s or 50s period has a grate feel for that period like la confidential two thumbs up.

Got a great deal on this movie at Best Buy. I'm really into the whole old school gangster/ mobster movies. Either from mob side or cop side I think it's good entertainment.

This movie was action packed and had great performances. The movie has a superb A -list cast and all well known areas of Los Angeles are shown throughout the movie. Gives the audience a good thrill ride and keeps you at the edge of your seat at all times!!

The story was told well n plot was good action was good didn't know about this n that it was true until I saw movie. Great shot of la. N landmarks costume n clothing were great

I have a lot of gangster movies and this one was pretty good---I'll go back and watch it again to pick up what I missed the first time.

This is a decent movie. For the price I got this, it's a good entertainment option. I own the movie for what would usually be a rental option.

Very good if violent depiction of the clean up of Los Angeles which had a serious problem with mobsters after WWII. Based on real story.

I'm a sucker for a mafia flick and this one is well told, well acted, and well worth seeing more than once. Sean Penn is great.

Guys will love it...lots of gun fights & tough guy scenes. Girls will love it...lots of 30's era dresses & nightclub scenes. Sean Penn was intense.

Excellent period piece where crime is rampant and gangsters rule. Enter the Gangster squad to rid the city of these vermin; especially the kingpin. Beautifully written and well acted by an acclaimed cast.

Purchased this film from the blue bin. If you like gangster/mob type films, you will like this one. Loved Emma Stone in this film.

bought this sony 4k tv.. absolutely fabulous color. alot of depth in picture.. maybe a little pricey but its a great TV.

Another great real story , I love gangster movies but this one is great ! the acting is also great i could olmost place my self in that era great scenery . Lots of action and twists anding is a nice surprise!

All star cast Sean Penn, Nick Notle, Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling. Sean Penn plays a mob boss that seems untouchable because he has cops on the pay roll. So a counter group has been put together to bring him down.

If you love gangster movies, this is a must see! The cinematography is a little cookie cutter at times, Great Gatsby like without the music/dancing but greatly told story. Intriguing from beginning to end.

This movie was cool and all but with a couple scenes going differently and this movie would have been 6 stars!

This was a fun movie to watch, I don't know why, I just enjoyed it. Not as good as Goodfellas but I would recommend it.

This movie isn't as great as the other gangster movies, but it has a stellar cast that elevates this movie.

Sean Penn was really good in the movie the trailers are great since this was based on real life.
