I love these cameras! I have one in my dump truck and one in each of my personal vehicles. It records all day and I’ve gotten a few incidents recorded. I recommend these cameras my family’s business to use in our commercial dump trucks. Hands down best cameras to have! And very easy to use!

I wanted a dash cam for years. Finally i went to best buy and purchased a GARMIN 47. It was easy to install and works great. Now, I'll have video if I'm in an accident.

I bought the Garmin Dash Cam for additional security for my car. I really like the updated parking addition that was added to the dash cam. I also like the fact that it will let you know when you are approaching a red light camera or when an ambulance, police car is approaching. When the car is turned off even though the camera is stopped the updated parking security will automatically start recording for any movement around the car or any movement of the car. If someone is parked next to me and their door hits my car it will send the app an alert on my phone. The only thing I do not like about the dash cam is how small it is. I can barely read what the alert is showing on the dash cam. Overall it is a nice dash cam

The Garmin dash cam is very easy to set up and use! Takes great photos and easy to record. It automatically records when it detects a possible crash as well. Highly recommend!

The hardware is fine. It is compact, it is reliable. Offloading video by swapping the sdcard and you are ok, it will function. It is not competitive in resolution, aim for 4k alternative instead. The worst part, the phone app is completely unstable garbage when working with video. Wifi exporting fails, it is painfully slow, will not regularly load unsaved/temporary footage. Editing video is a horrible experience. Garmin doesn't care about this product and should sell the rights to a vendor that will actually support it. This product is not competitive with what is, and what will be on the market. I cannot believe this is the same company that makes state of the art aircraft glass panels.

Not too sure about the product. It’s small in size and that is one of its pros. It hides behind your rear view mirror. But it is too small to see clearly while driving. The app acts funny at times. Returned it after using it for 10 days.

Overall its a good little dashcam. Perfectly suited for what i needed. Easy to operate and easy to install even a boomer can do it.

Dash cam works great! Very simple to install And takes clear clean captures.

So far it has been great, good picture quality on screen as well as through the app. Saving video is easy because of the dedicated button on the camera. Bought because I haul a camper thousands of miles and people dont know how to drive and expect people to slam on their brakes for them so I didnt want any insurance issues, I can just save the video and have proof. 10/10 for cost.

Must have, was involved in a car accident and this little device makes it clear who caused the accident.

I really like how it has voice controls for starting record, and how it does modern car QoL stuff like letting you know cars are moving at a red, lane departure warnings, etc.

Garmin 47 dash cam is a great purchase. It's not too expensive and Garmin is a great brand. Easy to hook up. I recommend buying the hardwire kit from the Garmin website if you pick one of these up.

I plugged it in and it functioned right away. Channeling the cord is a bit of a pain in the behind and I will probably spring for the OBD2 port plug that should be in the box but is sold separately but that is not enough for me to lower the amount of stars.

As of now I don’t have a problems with it. It really exceeds my expectation. All of it’s features are good for the price.

I had two other dash cams before this. and there’s no comparison what I like about this. It gives you warnings on the speed cameras, and also red light cameras, and if you’re riding too close on the car in front of you, it will give you an alert to back off. if you want to turn off the sound, you can, after a while it becomes annoying. also, the other thing I like is the download it to your phone. It works great. I give just five stars.

I bought this as a safety device just before a 3,000 mile trip & it has worked just fine for me ever since. I would probably have to admit I'd prefer a front and rear camera, but that would be more expensive. I like the windshield mount - it is fast and easy.
