I have owned 5 garmin gps and this is by far the best one i have owned, much better than the 3597

Love it. Great product! Has helped me get around the DFW area with ease. I'm never lost.

I bought this GPS as a replacement or our old Tom Tom. I've had it a few weeks now, and there are some things I like about it, and some that are still a problem. PROS -The user interface is easy to use, and if you run into anything tricky, the entire manual is on the device under "Help" in the settings. -The search for things like restaurants, etc is easy to use -The lifetime data access is great! - It has an option for "safety mode" which is hands-free while you're driving, and it gives more verbal details in that mode. -Although it has a Bluetooth interface which can do all kinds of things with your smartphone, I haven't tried it yet. I probably will at some point. -Their customer service live agents are awesome! I called before we bought it to ask questions, and the guy took the time to explain all the features of their different models to help me choose which one I needed. CONS -I never could get the live traffic updates to load. It kept saying "no traffic info available" or "this will take time to load", but it never did. I'm going to have to call customer service about that. Since this is one of the main reasons I bought it, this is why I gave a 3 star rating. If they can get this resolved, I would give it 5 stars.

This is a great GPS. I got this to replace a very old Garmin that I had.

I loved a Garmin GPS that I owned for many years, but this Garmin - DriveLuxe 50LMTHD 5 replacement is light years ahead. I love that it tells me of upcoming curves, schools, red light cameras and even animal crossings. The glass touch screen is extremely responsive and quick. I also especially love the hands-free voice navigation. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I have not had time to put this gps through the paces , but so far it is impressive.

Garmin has made dom3 seriously terrific improvements...LOVE OUR NEW GARMIN

Excellent gps, I would recommend the Garmin brand over any other brand.

More intuitive,more features easy to set up and use

As a previous owner, I prefer this over the map in my vehicle. Its updated more frequently, and lifetime updates are much more preferred that the annual cost of the one in the vehicle; it has tech support if necessary, and is very easy on the eyes. This size, 5", is ideal for quick peeps and does not obstruct vision.

Sync with your phone for live traffic updates, blutooth for your phone, reads your phones messages for a hands free phone experience. Great product.

This is my 3rd one and I absolutely love them. I would not travel without it and I do a lot of traveling. I love it where I live for letting me know the speed limit it changes quite often here and I tend to have a heavy foot if I am not careful. I know it has saved me from getting a ticket or two.

I bought this to replace my older Garmin unit. When I first started using the new one I could not believe the clarity of the screen and how much easier it was to follow the direction given. I highly recommend this product to anyone who travels a lot for work or pleasure.

I've been using this Garmin for a few months now and it hasn't let me down. It lets me know when a curve is coming up and when the speed limit is going to drop. Construction reported as well. I love it!! Graphics are much sharper than my last Garmin!

We actually got this GPS because our 7 month old one fell off the windshield and broke. Thankfully we had bought a warranty. We absolutely love this new voice activated GPS - it was definitely worth the extra $$ of course we bought the warranty!

This has by far been the best GPS i have owned, the optimization alone saves me hours of trying to figure out the best route to take. Considering i use it weekly for 40+ stops a night, I never leave home without it
