Great product. Huge screen,Bluetooth works flawlessly,fast and reliable. Speakers aren’t that great for music but that’s not why I bought it. Honestly didn’t even knew it did that tell after I bought it. What else can I say it’s a Garmin and they make great products.

Works great love the speed alert and the Bluetooth option to run though my vehicles stereo. Screen is large and easy to use. Would recommend if you need GPS.

I have had Garmin GPS's for almost 20 years. This is the best yet. The setup was and updating was very easy. Sharp, large, and clear map makes makes it easy to read. Updates construction zones automatically. Very easy to enter multiple destinations with with a predetermined final destination. Haven't tried optimizing my routing yet but I will. Expecting it to be fairly easy. Would buy this again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely love my Garmin! Drive everyday for work and hate fumbling with phone GPS. This Garmin has everything. Big screen/easy to see. Easy set up. Would highly recommend!

We loved our old Garmin Nuvi2595 but outdated maps were beginning to cause confusion while driving. Transferring saved data between two was a breeze and new maps as well as new features makes us very pleased with the purchase. Larger & split screen availability a pleasant plus. Have had excellent results from my Garmin products to date.

I bought this for my mom. It is much easier for her to use than her phone because of the large, clear touchscreen and intuitive controls and voice commands. She has never been able to master her phone GPS app but she picked up on the Garmin right away!

Works great. Have it in a vehicle that doesn't have the newer technology. Not only does this have up to date mapping and driving info, but allows for hands free communication when necessary. Easy to set up and looks sharp. Very excited to have made this purchase and all its functionality. Would highly recommend.

I’ve used various other branded GPS systems, but you know what I discovered, Garmin is the one brand I keep returning to, their customer support, no quibble return procedure, but most of all, their equipment, I’ve tried cheapest brand right up the ladder and I have to say Garmin, you deserve to charge what you do for your equipment, I’d have no problem paying same again if I needed to, I can’t give them 10 stars but if I could I would

What a great upgrade from my old 5” Garmin Nuvi! My old unit served me well for many years but this new one is a welcome upgrade. The large display is so much easier to see and the audio is improved also. Very happy with my new GPS!

Well...I finally got everything going - I think. This unit is SO complex that it takes quite a bit to make the thing perform properly. Once it does, I still do not like the map display as much as on my prior Garmin units. I try to get the zoom where I want it and the unit goes somewhere else. The unit does not always center the image right away. I have had it go nearly to the edge before centering. This is not good. If my DriveSmart 7 had not started not turning on all the time, I would not have replaced it, and I probably should have replaced it with another 7. You also have to buy (for over $60.00) a new mount in order to put the unit on the dash. Not good at all. Would I recommend this unit? Maybe, but that is not available. Yes but...

My Garmin is perfect in my little 2010 car! So helpful and much improved upgrades since the days of old Garmins of yesteryear! So much better, easy to operate and loud enough to hear clearly.

I never used a GPS unit before, except for a few stressful attempts with my smart phone, which is too small and takes too much time away from the road to read. My Garmin is just the right size and easy to access/read attached to the windshield. It's easy to add destinations, voice recognition is excellent, and saved me many, many miles of missed turns and near accidents. It has already paid for itself in safety and gas savings. Im spoiled now! :-) :-)

This one beats all the others with easy to use and accurate features. When used with the right attachments in your vehicle it becomes an asset to get to where you have to be easily.

I bought the Garmin DriveSmart 86 GPS because I wanted a larger screen than that my phone provided. I really like Garmin's maps and the detailed directions provided. It also provides live traffic which is very helpful in you're traveling on the interstate and need to know what's ahead. It's a great device and I recommend it.

The garmin drivesmart 8" has many usefull tools like camera warning, gas station locaction,voice control and the large screen is easy to see.

my previous drivesmart 61 (i think it was) died on the road. i bought this one thinking the larger screen would mean larger type and was disappointed it did not. also, though this device provides a lot of info, it is very complicated to navigate. troublesome. nonetheless, i value the street and highway designations. they help keep me oriented.
