This Garmin cycling device is Great for the cycling 'touring' enthusiast! This device has the features I need as a cycling computer and I use it for running also, to track my activities, heart rate (need strap)*, cadence(add-on)*, speed(add on available)*, but it does work with GPS.
User friendly, with touch screen, it comes pre-loaded with maps. I like downloading 'routes' from internet. But the device has the capablitiy to search out routes. The device does connect to my phone through,(also has wifi feature) and I receive text message friend contacted me. It has an incident response device too, to inform family if needed.
Large color screen is easy to read, and it is responsive touch-screen. Also comes with a remote device to 'click' through screens (keep you hands on the handle bars) .
With Garmin Connect App, upload rides to your computer and/or phone to review and analyze.
This device is a small investment, but added enjoyment for tracking your cycling activities. As long touring cycling the device can help rider follow a map course.
