Best watch I ever had. The main thing for me was the battery life. I was tired of always charging my watch every few days, now. I don’t charge my watch until 20+days; Also, having the option to charge it via solar I got to say it’s pretty cool! I would like to also add that this watch helps so much by increasing my productivity at the gym. It’s like having a personal trainer next to me tracking every lift, every reps, and every breath I take.

I originally purchased the amoled version only to traded it back for the solar version after realizing I preferred the battery life over the vibrant display. Honestly love everything about this watch. It was an upgrade from the original fenix 7(stainless steel).

I have been using for a couple months now and absolutely love this watch. So many more features than the other smart watches out there. I bought this to replace my Apple Watch and I would never go back. Battery literally lasts for AT LEAST a week and a half with 24/7 wear. It tracks my HR constantly and also my O2 levels throughout the night. Awesome looking watch as well. Great for running and working out as well. It gives you so much insight into your health stats. Definitely takes awhile to learn how to use all the features tho. Would 100% buy again and will be sticking with Garmin.

After several months of relentless testing—from mountain trails and ocean dives to daily workouts—the Garmin Fenix 8 Solar Sapphire 47mm has redefined my expectations of a rugged smartwatch. This smart watch really caters for the folks that are tracking their lifestyle. your everyday activity and health points. I appreciate that it does that with accuracy. The bonus point for me is its ability for scuba and free diving recording. I am an iphone and generally uses apple environment but this watch i think beats the ultra for what i need it for. The only i dont like are that you will have to download supporting apps for some of its use and customization.

The Garmin Fenix 8 is the kind of watch that doesn’t just track your adventures — it elevates them. After a month of using it, I can confidently say it’s the most reliable and feature-rich smartwatch I’ve ever worn. The build quality is exceptional: the titanium bezel, sapphire glass, and improved ergonomics make it feel indestructible yet surprisingly comfortable for daily wear. What impressed me most is the accuracy. Whether I’m hiking in the mountains, running in the city, or strength-training indoors, the GPS locks in instantly and the heart-rate tracking is noticeably more precise than previous models. Battery life is phenomenal — with mixed use, I can go well over a week without recharging, even with multi-band GPS enabled. The new performance metrics, upgraded sensors, and bright AMOLED display make every interaction fast and intuitive. Garmin managed to create a watch that feels both seriously professional and genuinely motivating. It’s not just a smartwatch; it’s a tool that helps you understand your body, improve your training, and stay prepared for any challenge.
If you want a watch that can keep up with every part of your life — fitness, outdoors, travel, and everyday productivity — the Fenix 8 is the one to beat. Absolutely worth it.

It has a 47mm size that feels lightweight on my wrist, and the solar charging feature is a big plus—this means I can use it for longer without worrying about running out of battery, which is perfect for long hikes or trips.
The watch tracks my runs, heart rate, and even has modes for different sports like swimming and cycling. The screen is clear and easy to read, even in bright sunlight. Plus, I can get notifications for messages and calls right on my wrist, so I don’t have to keep checking my phone. Overall, the Garmin fēnix 8 is a fantastic smartwatch for outdoor lovers and active people!

Good for outdoor especially when doing an extreme activity. The new features adds more into the productivity of daily activities. Worth for expensive, plus wont be as fragile as an apple watch
