great for work and having fun. Being in the military I have put this product to the test.

Before this I've had the fitbit Surge, and loved it, but the wristband wasn't durable, and eventually had sync issues, went through 2 in a year... and wasn't waterproof. The only negative thing I can say about the Fenix is that there IS NOT a heart rate monitor built in. It was nice to know when my heart rate was at certain points, but I'm healthy enough, I don't really care. And you can get a monitor that you can sync with it, if you want to. Other than that, this thing is as accurate as I can tell! It has too many features to go on about here, but I've used almost all the features and it's like Christmas finding out all the custom ways you can set it up to display what you want. 100% user friendly and looks awesome. If you're concerned on how big it is, go drink some milk/shake it'll be ok, Garmin knows that this watch is what dreams are made of.

I did a WHOLE lot of research on this watch before making my purchase on Black Friday. In all of the literature I read and viewed, I never once saw an image of the watch that showed anything less than a stellar, crisp, bright watch face. The watch that I got was not quite as spectacular as what I was led to believe. In my opinion, the watch face is hard to read while indoors; the watch face is just too dark for my taste. I have to hold the watch at just a certain angle and have the ambient light hit the face just right in order to read the watch face. The watch can be read quite easily outdoors, but the dimness of the display for indoor use was a deal breaker for me; I returned the watch. Just too much money not to be able to easily use the watch indoors.

Best gps watch that is have ever owned. Watch syncs great with the app and is easy to use. Highly recommended.

I love watches! I needed a GPS to track my running so I grabbed this one. Battery life is amazing. Used the GPS approx 7 hrs the first week I had it and after 7 days with no charging it was on 15%. Also didn't know you could download free watch faces and apps. Worth every penny

Great watch for someone that doesn't need to have it always connected to your phone to access features. The charge lasts 10-12 days unless using the GPS and it can get wet from swimming or jogging in the rain!!!

I run, bike, do P90X and this is an AWESOME watch.

This device is a great watch. It looks and feels good with the exception of the band, the band will hold up and is durable but it is rubber. You can easily swap the band out to a metal one but everything has a cost. The device works well and there are a few bugs like "phantom battery drain" but it goes away. The watch keeps very accurate data and is far better than a cellphone.

Great watch. Was worried about the size before I bought but it fits me perfectly. Battery lasts beyond a week. Has many more features than I have used yet but overall a great watch.

I have tried several smart watches. The Fenix 3 does everything for running, walking and hiking. Great notifications. Waterproof and last a week without charging.

This is a great alternative to the other "wearable tech watches". I had no idea I could receive info on incoming text messages and phone calls. All this on top of the great features. My only regret is not getting the model with the built in Heart Rate monitor.

Did my homework on gps watches!! After hours of reading reviews and watching YouTube videos, I selected this model. This watch is user friendly, super durable and an excellent choice for a runner. There are so many options - I haven’t even explored them all. I love reading my text messages on the watch. I would like a heart rate monitor, but I don’t know how accurate watch monitoring actually is, so it’s not worth the extra money to me. Battery life is amazing!!!
