But, I did have to return the first one because several features did not work: backlight settings were broken, would not connect to weather, syncing with my phone was spotty. As it turns out, this watch is known for having issues. But, if you get a fully functioning one, it is great.

She liked the functionality but the band was too big. I decided to buy the 45S for her and she is thrilled. It feels and looks better. The upside for me is that I got to keep the 45!

I don't run, but I like going out for walks and this keeps track of my mileage and progress. It has several features that I can use even while at the gym. I highly recommend it.

Problems syncing to iPhone.

It had problems syncing with my iPhone. I didn't care for the interface either, and due to the syncing issues I was unable to download a new watch face. Spend a few extra bucks and upgrade to the Vivoactive 3, it's much nicer.
