Got this as a gift and it works great. so glad i dont have to use my phone as gps any longer. its clear easy to use and gets me to where i need to go fast.

Do like my new GPS. Screen is vividly clear and directions have been very accurate. Like the voice command option although doesn't always understand me or list the place I want to go. Probably the thing I like least is that I can't get it to auto-correct/re-route when I want to take a road off the beaten path. (i.e. wants to keep putting me back on the interstate, when I want to take a scenic route I know of/or see on a map). Again, I think is a great assistive device and probably most of the issues that I have are because I'm not an "electronic gizmo" type of person.

I bought this unit for a recent road trip from Boston to Florida. It really took the stress out of figuring out where to go and how to get there. Once in FL it made it easy to find my way around. It operated flawlessly and got the 3,000 mile road trip behind me with ease. It did make some questionable choices on the way home but nothing common sense and a paper map backup couldn't handle. No wrong tuns all the way and no back tracking. Had no problem with picking lanes or catching exits. Stuck in heavy traffic the unit didn't give a heads up until the traffic was behind us. Seemed a little lame and very late to the party. The smart phone app really sucked down my iPhone battery, ended up deleting the app. Seemed like it had potential until the excess battery draw made my phone less viable as a phone. All in all I like the Garmin Nuvi 2597LMT better than the old Tom Tom it replaced.

Had an old Garmin that had seen better days. I hesitated getting another Garmin as the old one was fair at best. Wow, what an improvement this one is. Easy to use, great picture and accurate, easy to follow directions. Features I love...traffic updates and showing the speed limit.

This is everything a smart phone GPS wishes it could be. It's easy to use. Voice command is simple, the directions are clear, the screen is large and you don't have to worry about a phone call interrupting your directions OR using up all your data plan trying to find that out of the way shop. This was a great investment.

This gps is incredibly easy to use. I like the free updates and live traffic updates. Having this has saved me a lot of time.

I like the larger screen, it is easy to use & updates are available. Best Buy matched the lower price from another store.

I bought this to upgrade from a previous Nuvi. It has exceeded my expectations. The voice command works well, however, not perfect, there are times when it simply does not understand me; but the good news is that the touch interface is easy. The phone connection was flawless and everyone I called said my voice was clear and easy to understand. Good product and very happy with the purchase.

I bought this GPS originally for work because i wanted something that was compact to put in a computer bag and easy to mount and carry. So far after 1500 miles it is still working great. I use the traffic feature all the time to see if there is any delay and the up ahead option is great for looking for gas or food when you are on the road in an unfamiliar area. One thing I would recommend is to get the weighted dash mount as the suction cup does not work very well on a cold windshield.

Great! Had one before; so this was a replacement. Nice screen size and user friendly.

I purchased this GPS at the full price because I have owned an older version in the past and know it is good. Took this unit on a test run to Six Flaggs Magic Mountain and loved the new freeway exit display and the lane to follow guides. The option to show gas stations, banks and restaurants is also nice. The viewing is great from all angles and in direct light. I could use the voice a little louder myself. My son had a fun time downloading extra icons and voices too. Great item!

Got tired of my phone GPSalways going in and out and telling me too late when I need to turn. Sometimes it isn't even accurate. This baby is beautiful right out of the box. Great voice commands, great big clear screen, BT works to perfection. Best GPS ive owned. You don't have to worry with this one like u do on your ohines GPS.

The screen is a nice size. The split screen shows which lane to be in before an exit or merger. Lifetime updates is a plus.

Love this GPS, can't wait to test it cross country. I am not afraid of being lost. Good price. Accurate. Easy to use.

I bought this GPS for my husband last Christmas and he loves it! He travels for business and was trying to use his phone but this unit offers SO much more. His favorite feature is the real-time traffic update, which is always accurate. Also, the street view is extremely helpful. Can't go wrong, particularly at the price we paid.

This was easy to program and use, nice size screen, easy to see and follow. Am extremely pleased with this purchase.

I purchased this item to replace an old TomTom. It has many more features and is easier to use. I am very satisfied!

love the large screen and the details of signs and split screen when coming up on exits and split on highway. Very accurate in directions

it covers all the basics you need and is pretty easy to use. I love the voice command and place finder.

Unit I had failed so picked this one up while on a trip. Worked well out of the box and was able to use my dash 'beanbag'. Taking some time to adjust to the new screen, couple items don't show as it did on my old unit. Don't really care for the optional windows that need to be pressed while driving, but windows do pop-up with traffic snarls. Do like the function that it recommends alternate routes to bypass slower roads.
