Great GPS, easy to use, the only issue is that some of the saved places for searching nearby like banks or restaurant where not updated. Prior to using it I downloaded the latest maps, but I used my phone to get address of the place I need to go and just use the GPS from there.

This our third Garmin GPS for the car. We really like Garmin! They have improved the touch screen with this model. We bought this GPS about two years ago and have used it for many trips all around the USA. I like the way it previews which lane you need to be in before getting to a turn. On a recent trip to Arizona we were on our way to visit a remote National Monument, and this GPS just died. Like dead! We found that the battery dying on these models is not uncommon, so we ordered a new battery and installed it ourselves. So it is easily repairable, which is almost as good as not having to repair it at all. We still love this GPS, and recommend it.

I love this. So far superior to my old one even though it was the same brand. And I love the lifetime updates that came with this one. Easy to see and hear. Love that it shows the speed limit where you are driving plus how fast you are actually going yourself. Just an all around excellent piece of equipment.

This unit has all the features that it's more expensive counterparts. Lifetime maps, traffic, voice control, speaker phone. It's the better choice. I have both this unit and its more expensive counterpart and other than the matte screen (which is way better during the day) I can't tell the difference.

I caught the Garmin - nüvi 2597LMT on sale. This is my third Garmin GPS and is by far tjhe best I have owned. Love the lane assist and split screen exit displays, I especially like the real time traffic alerts and alternate route suggestions.

Love the overall features, readibility in bright sunlight, and lifetime maps and travel. Didn't think I'd use voice command, but find I use it all the time. Voice command is a great safety feature, whether in my car or on my motorcycle.

This is the perfect travel size GPS device. I used it in Canada and was very accurate. Traffic alerts worked in Canada as well! The accuracy and functionalities are even better in the US. Absolutely love the exits and transitions renderings so you get a view of the transition points before you get there.

Had originally purchased the TomTom but returned for this one. It was on sale for a little more but with way more features. Definately like but you have to get a micro sd card to do updates

I purchased this to replace an older 5" garmin that did not have lifetime maps. I was getting tired of being nagged to pay for a map update on the older unit. Also I wanted to upgrade to a Bluetooth device. I am impressed overall with the improved speed and sophistication of this device. Connecting to a satellite is improved considerably.

I have a previous Garming GPS, nuvi 40L for many years. It still works fine, but sometimes it is too slow. I was looking for a GPS with live traffic updates and avoidance. It is big enough to be seen very well, lifetime maps and traffic updates, and it is able to connect to the Garmin BC 30 camera.

Thus far has proven to be a great GPS, with great features. Love the customization choices such as the directional vehicles & the voices (especially Squirrelly!!!), has the ability to adjust the brightness of the screen which is very helpful; Was very satisfactory shipping also... Very satisfied!

I purchased the Garmin for my son and it has been the best thing for him since he started driving. Easy to use and holds a charge for a very long time. We have also used it on our family trips and have not been disappointed. For the price this is an excellent choice and would recommend it to everyone.

We have a lesser model Garmin that has been very reliable but sometimes struggles. We have not had that problem with this unit. It accurately displays current traffic, school zones, speed limits, places to shop, eat, and buy gas, etc.

Some really nice upgrades on this Garmin. More advance directions on what lanes to be in and what to look for. Although current traffic was included in this model, it's tied to a specific traffic advisory system (which doesn't appear to cover as many areas) and doesn't appear to pick up current traffic like my brother's older model does.

The Garmin is so user friendly, I bought it for my husband as a back up to the one in the car as he's always complaining of how complicated it is. Not an issue with this one. Love that it has lifetime free upgrades. Worth every penny

This is a replacement for my older model Nuvi. I wanted the traffic feature and lane assist. I travel for work into unknown areas, lane assist helps alot. I haven't used the traffic yet, was told it usually works in larger metro areas.

Very nice unit makes finding customers addresses a breeze! Purchased multiple suction cups for all the trucks, and recommended to all my co-workers. We work in a rural area and it locates most addresses with great accuracy, and the Bluetooth makes calls to dispatch or customers safe and easy!
