I received this GPS as a gift for Christmas. Love the voice command. Navigation could be a bit more accurate but otherwise it works well. The only other thing I would recommend is a battery charge indicator that is a bit more accurate.

Love it! Only thing i miss is the ability to make folders for favorites in different cities. Otherwise, great gps. Traffic is very accurate.

This is my second garmin gps, my first with the live traffic and maps. I absolutely love this unit. My first one lasted over 6 years but it didnt have the lifetime maps/traffic update, so it was time to upgrade. You cant go wrong as the main reason i purchased this was because of the lifetime map updates in addition to live traffic updates...not to mention it also has bluetooth and voice activation that makes it truly hands free.

I chose this model because one review said that it warned of traffic problems 20 minutes ahead. However, I have been in about 4 traffic jams on highways in the past month, in various states, and this GPS didn't warn me at all. Once in a while it tells me "there is light traffic on your route." Other issues: A few times it shut off by itself (battery was full and unit was plugged in). Some good features: Maps of Canada & Mexico (some of the competitors don't have this); It often tells you to be in certain lanes if you are approaching a split in a highway (however, sometimes I needed to know this info and the GPS said nothing). Sometimes it's slow….it tells you to make a turn after you are already halfway through the turn.

I only wish I could upgrade my older GPS's maps, but the file sizes are too large for them. So it was time to get a new GPS to update the whole system and one that came with lifetime maps. No regrets as the price of GPS systems have come down dramatically ($150 at Best Buy). So far it's been a good system. The only thing I wish GPS systems would do is learn preferred routes. This one as with others may get you where you're going, but it won't necessarily make sense due to time, distance, traffic signals, stop and go traffic, etc. Especially in those areas that you travel into or through that you are familiar with. Leading decision to buy this GPS was price and familiarity with prior Garmin GPS products.

Great gps good for people who get lost easily. It will say make a left at the sunoco.

This is a great option for GPS at a good price point. I have used it all over the US, and the signal is generally found pretty quickly. The lifetime updates are helpful and the unit tells you when updates are available.

I had a Garmin GPS that I used until it just stopped working. So I finally replaced it with this... I should not have waited so long. This one is so much better, especially with accurate directions and second screen helps.

Got this to replace an older Garmin Nuvi. Chose this one for its Bluetooth capability, and memory card slot. Very happy with it, and the map update process dashboard. There are bigger ( 7 inch ) but this one is plenty big for me, and doesn't obscure visibility out of the windshield. Highly recommended.

The voice activation is pretty cool, have updated the maps twice already! It's so easy to use, and being hands free makes it that much better. Can pretty much tell it an address while driving and boom! Your on your way

This replaces a 3 yr old Garmin unit that died (hope this one lasts longer). The new connection is easier to connect/disconnect. The screen is easy to see. There are not as many voices available. I miss Karen (Australian English). There also aren't as many free vehicles to download. Neither is critical. Maps are still 6+ months out of date for road and speed limit changes. The unit is easy to use and the exit directions are good. The "real" directions need improvement. The turn directions are often to late to allow you to get to the correct lane. Also telling you to turn at a landmark instead of a street does not work well when the landmark has changed (Lucky's in Atlanta near the aquarium is gone).

This is a replacement for a 6 year old GPS. I love to voice feature. It makes finding a location. So much easier. We recently made w trip to the Smokie Mountains and it even had the roads in Cades Cove. Highly recommend

I have had 3 units over the years and this one calculates faster than I have ever seen.. Plus it shows the real lane your in for excellent directions while navigating freeway traffic. Much better than Google maps

Finding the address I'm navigating to has not missed yet. Slightly off with road closures due to construction. Arrival time is close to predicted time.

This is my second Garmin. The Garmin is intuative making it easy to use right out of the box. Besides telling you how to get there, it has the addersses and phone number. I love my Garmin! Especially like the ability to choose between 2 or 3 routes.

We upgraded from a 2007 Garmin so are very pleased with the bigger screen and clearer images. Also like to see the businesses identified on the map. We are planning to use this in Italy, so needed to upgrade so we could use the chip for the Italy map.

We bought this product for an elderly gentleman so he wouldn't get lost. He can just say "home" and no matter where he is it helps him get home. Very simple to use.

Faster and easier to look up contacts. I find it difficult to detach from car to use walking around cities. Directions are clear. Monitor is bright and clear to follow. I purchased a strong wallet for protection, since my last Garmin's monitor cracked.

I think the system is very good and works well. I especially like the bluetooth since I don't have hands free native in the car. Maps work well and voice recognition is about 85% accurate. Good purchase for an inexpensive but very good system.

Not as easy to get started as the customer rep. led me to believe. Check your computer's OS for compatibility. Downloads were slow. But once on the road, gave good directions without constant repetitions. I appreciate the verbal command capacity.
