Garmin is perhaps the best name in the market for this type of equipment. I try other brands but I feel they DO NOT compare to Garmin. The accessories are excellent too.

This gps is very user friendly. Lots of handy extras such as nearest gas stations! Very handy on cross country road trips.

I bought this when it was on sale and absolutely love it. The voice is easy to hear and I don't have a problem get from point A to B with this. Worth the price for sure.

I use this devise everyday for business and personal use. I would be lost without it. Saves me time and money (gas) with the directions. Especially when some addresses are difficult to find without it.

Works great does everything i need it to do.The battery life without adapter is not very long so we leave it plugged in.

I like the fact that this has built in Blue Tooth. Works well and I can use it in another vehicle and keep my phone hands free. Bought it before Christmas on sale. Overall a good purchase.

This was a gift for my 85 year old mother who won't get a smartphone which is what I use for navigation. She is able to use this without too many calls to me which means it's easy to use.

I always prefer Iphone maps..But since i started using this i find this more clear than iphone though iphone maps is still good..Voice command is a gr8 option...

Garmin's one of top class product, it has good coverage, updated maps, good features like lane assist, traffic alerts, good LCD, life-time maps support. I am satisfied with this product.

Have not had this one long enough to determine final rating. This is my third Garmin and have had no issues other than battery life. Since almost always have it in the plug in charger, not an issue.

we use these a lot at work and they are very accurate, screen has great brightness for sunny days and volume can be turned up loud enough for the hardest of hearing

I do not want to go anywheres without it!! I used it on two big road trips and it was flawless! I got my mother-n-law to go out and get one too!! She loves it!

Bought this GPS to replace an older model. This model is great especially with lifetime maps updates. Easy to use.

I bought this Garmin GPS after my navigation head unit in my car broke. It is very easy to navigate through the different screens. A great purchase for traveling.

Our old GPS gave out during a cross country trip so we picked this one up. It is easy to use and the voice is a lot cleared on street names than our old one.

This nuvi 2597 is better (newer) than my last two Garmins. Faster load, better features. However on the first long trip, it gave false traffic info about a delay ahead that kept increasing. We almost took a long detail but decided not to when my iPhone and other indicators said no delay. At the last second the Garmin delay disappeared. So the traffic monitoring software appears faulty or lousy. Also, I miss not having multiple data points to display t the same time (time, miles to detention, etc). But I do like the split screen. Also the audio commands work a little bit but not enough to be useful or reliable. Biggest negative is the traffic updates.

Very good GPS with lifetime maps and traffic. Good value for the money. I had an older model and was happy with it so I bought this GPS as a gift. Works great.

Very good product. Easy to set up. I travel a lot in my work and this product takes me to my clients front door. No wasted gas looking in all the wrong places.
