The Garmin nuvi-2597 has the perfect size screen. It's easily visible and doesn't have any glare. The screens are easy to navigate and this is very important for someone that has to use it every single day for work

We love this! My husband is not good with electronics but he can work this. And the traffic, construction updates for our area are much needed.

had returned a Magellan unit with the same price, but fair less features and was more difficult to use. Was very pleased with the Garmin purchase, should have known since had various other Garmins. Only negative is there is no written manual, you have to download it! Also don't care for the apple phone app, too hard to use

Simple quick great price works well with bluetooth

This is a great product and very easy to travel with. I bought it before i headed out of town and it worked great. My only caveat would be to buy it a few days before you need to use it so you can download the latest software as it could take a long time, even with high speed internet.

Tells me if I am exceeding the posted speed limit. Warns me of an upcoming school zone. Without setting a destination it tells me if I am close to home - how long to get there and traffic conditions for the route home! AND gets me to anywhere in the country I want to go with the least fuss.

We have used NUVIs for years. This was is improved

So far it is great...no problems. It shows the hotels that are close by - with a description. It shows the gas stations and where they are. We like all the other info that is also available about the place we are visiting or on our way to visit. Better product than any other one on the market!

This has everything we wanted in a portable GPS as we plan on using it in 2 different vehicles. The only negative is the suction mount. Didn't work on our dash or the window, but perhaps our below freezing temperatures are to blame. My husband picked up a friction mount which works great.

Purchased this GPS solely because I would be making a trip outside the USA and needed something, other than my cell phone which would eat up my data faster than I can type this review, that could direct me to Toronto and the surrounding area. Most GPS products were US only but this one was an exception. It was priced decently at $149 on sale so I thought "what the heck?" and bought one. After getting it home, hooking up and registering the GPS, and letting it charge I decided to 'try it out' around the town I live in. Simple task like getting myself to work (which by the way is as simple as making a left out of my neighborhood, a left onto the highway, drive five miles and make a right off the highway, then work is less than a mile up the road on the left) wasn't even possible with this thing! I was admittedly scared for what was to come. The GPS wanted me to get off the highway an exit before the normal exit, then tried to get me to take a LEFT off the highway (see above description) and go way the heck out of the way. A simple 10 minute drive to work showed up as a 17 minute drive with this GPS. Tried again using the GPS in my hometown where I grew up with similar results: tried giving me longer routes to take, wrong turns, and pointing us to places that didn't exist. I'm writing this review post-international road trip so thankfully we didn't get lost in another country. Would have given ONE STAR but reluctantly giving TWO STARS because I didn't get lost in Canada. 2/5, would not recommend.

I've had a dozen or so GPS units in my lifetime, but this one is the best. You don't have to touch it at all, just speak any one of the voice commands on the screen in front of you and it does all the work, and quickly, too!

Garmin - n�vi 2597LMT is so much better than the older and "cheaper" model Garman that I was using. Decided to buy myself a toy and the monies spent on the 2597 was well worth the money. Features school warnings etc. As a full-time RV'er this unit more than suits my needs and wants.

Easy to setup and use. Lifetime maps is a good feature.
