Overall great product. Maybe a little pricey. It has lots of features. Used it while riding motorcycle and blue tooth works . That is one else of the main reasons for buying.

I cant give this GPS 5 stars because I brought it for a gift for someone, but I did play around with it setting it up and using it. Very smooth operation between screens, I am thinking about buying it for myself.

Moving up from a 9 year old Garmin GPS, to the nuvi 2597, there is a great deal of improvements. Indicated speed limits, "points of interests", less typing for inputting searches and address information are all great improvements.

Purchased the first unit and experienced a problem with the charging, customer service was helpful and allowed an exchange. This unit seems to be functioning well, and surely is performing better than my old Garmin. The older model seemed to develop a mind of its own.

Loved this product. I have had others but this was by far the best for my money! It is easy to use,very accurate and easy to view.

I had a GPS for about 7 yrs the improvements that were made are awesome!!! It shows you on all the exits if there is gas, food and hotels and the brands too. Like I said best GPS ever.

Great piece of hardware, unfortunately each time I leave Best Buy I need a shower for all the garbage the representative beats you over the head with. Like a time share representative.

Bought unit just before a trip. Was great. Especially liked the half screen that would illustrate an upcoming intersection. Love the posted speed and vehicle speed also the school zone warning. However, there were a couple of turn instructions that were incorrect

We bought this for our trip and it calculated everything quickly and was a great resource. It told us of local places and gas stations. This was definitely a great investment.

Bought this for husband to replace an older Garmin. He loves it. Screen size , accuracy, extra information, all work as stated.

This is a great GPS unit for any business traveler that does not want to use their mobile phone while traveling. The touchscreen is very responsive, easy to adjust, has good clarity and is a vast improvement over previous models.

I bought this to replace an old Garmin Nuvi that was very basic. I love how easy to use this new model is, most specifically the voice command function! I love being able to set navigation without having to take my eyes off the road. I love the traffic function to help me find alternate routes when necessary. Overall I really love this model and recommend it to anyone!

This device is reliable, accurate, easy to use and with a nice screen. The only downside is the price.

This gps is awesome. It has great directions, lifetime maps and the best part is the function for it to split screen when you have to take an exit on the highway. It shows you exit and simulated image of actual exit. Lifesaver!

I have had Garmin for years and this unit is killer! So many new features, I had to get used to them. Love this Garmin, loads extremely fast, finds "sats" just as fast. Ready to go! Free updates and traffic for life is cool too...

I thought I loved my old Garmin GPS. It was 12 years old when I dropped it and it broke. I have closed head injury so was very upset that I would have to learn something new. Not so, this one is better and just as easy to use.

Love this gps. I used garmin gps products for a while and this one is just as good. Like the ability to download maps at no additional charge. My wife would be lost without this one. Great product. Best buy matched amazons price.

The Garmin Nuvi 2597 is very accurate and routes quickly. The voice commands are great and the picture view of the exits are very helpful. I read a few reviews where people complained about the bluetooth speaker. I thought that they were just trying to find something to complain about. If you are getting this to make bluetooth calls, please reconsider, it is nearly unusable. I do not use this for calls, but wanted to test it.

I bought this GPS to replace the one I had given my granddaughter. I thought this one would be similar, but as it turns out, this one is much better. I love the fact that it shows me the location of gas stations, banks, etc.
