I bought the unit for my in-laws. So far it has worked reasonably well. Haven't used it on long trips to confirm that the directions are working perfectly as well. My in-law is quite happy that she's able to now answer her call without having to pull over the her car. Not to sure about the traffic updates as it seems to be lagging around the Potomac, MD area.

this is my 4th GPS and I think that it is the best one yet, The display is very clear and bright very easy to read when on the road.

I had an older Garmin and I love the new changes. The traffic info is greatly improved and the instructions are clearer than before.

I've never had a GPS before. The Garmin is my first. It's easy to operate and takes me where I want to go. What could be better!

I have owned Garmin, Magellan and Tom Tom and the Garmin GPS units are the best. When I am approaching a address it will tell me if it is on the right or left. And it is accurate. My last Tom Tom I was never confident that the location was going to be exact. I will never make the mistake of buying another brand of GPS again.

This is a nice product that works well. My only issue is that they have our address incorrectly located and when I contacted Garmin they did not do anything

I really like this GPS. It is very easy to use and I find the location of stores, restaurants, gas stations, etc nearby very helpful. The only downside is that once you put the mount on the back of the GPS, you cannot remove it. I have been trying to get if off for several days to store it in a case but have not been able to and am afraid I will break it trying.

Love my new garmin. This is an upgrade from an older Garmin and I am very happy with the purchase. Love the live traffic alert.

Easy setup. Nice screen. Mount holds unit solid to the windshield. Good gps for the money. Lifetime updates.

I have had this GPS for a month or so now. It seems to freeze up once and awhile bit it is technology I guess. That stuff happens. Not sure I would buy it again.

had a Tom Tom and magellan before buying this product after reading reviews online . Definitely a superior product all around.

We had to purchase a new Garmin when our Garmin 255 died while we were house hunting in a new location. We needed IMMEDIATE help and Garmin came to the rescue. Fortunately, this one functions similarly to our old one, but a hard-copy manual would have come in handy. So far, we love it.

This is the third Garmin GPS I have used. I always buy Garmin and have always been pleased. They are however sensitive to heat.

No complaints! The size is very good visually and the turn by turn assistance not perfect but very good. Traffic info is helpful.

Picked up a Garmin Nuvi 65LM when my 7 year old one died while on vacation. It got us home, but didn't have North American lifetime maps or lifetime traffic so I returned it. This one has those features at about the same price albeit a little smaller screen. It took a little while to get used to the differences between the 2597 and my old unit, but once accomplished this is decidedly better.

we own two of there Nav system and I We currently used it at Bright House Networks on all the work vans, I recommend this product!!!

Gets me to my destination loaded with features reacts to voice commands tho sometimes comical results resulting from my NY accent

We like the fact that is has the speedometer and also lets you know if you are speeding.

I purchased for my 16 year old son. He loves it and I can feel more secure being hands free instead of using map on his phone.
