I love the size and color . I have down loaded the updates and used device two times and it works great.

The voice recognition is a bit unpredictable at times but overall the gps unit is solid and accurate.

I liked the GPS and it has a lot of nice features but in order for most of them to work you have to connect it to your phone. If I wanted to use my phone I would get an app and use my phone.

Apple Maps and Google Maps need a cell connection to work . One a few occasions this summer I was in a situtation where this was not possible. I decided I could rent a GPS from the car rental company or buy my own . Wel Best Buy put this bad chicken on sale for $279 and I jumped on it. My good friend told me to get a Garmon, I told him I did. He said , "Good Choice" Looking forward to using it on my upcoming trip to Seattle

Even though I am a person that can get lost rather easily I still waited a very long time before purchasing a GPS for my car. I tried using my smartphone but it never worked well for me. The GARMIN nüvi 3597LMTHD Portable GPS is perfect for me. I have had no issues so far. The screen is clear and easy to see. The spoken directions are great.

When I first started using this device it was a little hard to understand the directions and usage. But I played with it a lot and figured it out. they need to have more detailed instructions IN THE BOX about how to set it up for the place you are in and the place you want to go. the online instructions were hard to read and convoluted.

Great GPS with lots of features. It not only tells you what street to turn on, but it also gives you a landmark reference like, "turn left before the Speedway gas station." This helps when street signs are hard to find. It will also show a picture and tells you what lane you need to be in for the next turn. For example it'll say, "be in either of the two left lanes." It also has avatars of restaurants, gas stations, banks, etc on the map as you're driving. It comes with lifetime map updates and traffic alerts that are usually accurate. It hasn't let me down yet.

It never fails its always giving me the fastest way does not fall off the dashboard like others

The first time I used it, it notified me about freeway construction 25 miles out. The voice command is great. I don't need to touch the screen at all. It shows me which lane I am suppose to be in when I exit the freeway. I have tried different brands of GPS but this Garmin is the best by far.

If your going to get a gps, this is the one. Have a dozen gps and by far the best one made

The GPS itself is an amazing product. It's easy to use and comes with some amazing features. Adding weather and traffic makes the unit a bit pricey. The HD screen is crystal clear and easy to see. This GPS is definitely one of the nicest and easiest to use units I've ever seen.

Easy to program and visuals are clear. I'm learning to use voice commands as well.

My husband bought one of these for his work truck and after seeing how easy it was to use and accurate I decided to buy one for myself. The price might seem a little steep considering all the buys you can get on Black Friday, but this is really worth it with lifetime maps in traffic. It's easy to use the voice command works fairly well. The only drawback is The place look up feature. They are often times where it cannot find what I'm looking for when I speak it, but when I type it in it might find it. I do not have a heavy accent by any means so this is sort of surprising. You can also use the Bluetooth connectivity sure to connect it to your car or phone, but I really don't find this necessary for my set up.

this gps works great so far.It is slim and has a very stable magnetic mount. I have not had a chance to use it often but the few times i have used it were exactly what i was looking for. great route options and very easy to use. I have not used the bluetooth yet.

I would recommend that you will get this model. Easy to use & voice command to .

Have owned it for a month snd used it for over 2000miles. Nevrr gotten lost yet!

I love the new magnetic mount since I have to take it down daily. The Voice Command System is awesome once you get used to it. I am very glad I upgraded from my old Garmin 1390 to this one. Lots and lots of features to list. Worth the money I spend for it
