Had to replace old unit and this model was recommended. Just love it and use it almost daily as I just moved to a new city. It's simply amazing. Only irritant is that in doesn't fit in my old holder and can't find just the snap on holder portion to fit this model. Hate to have to buy whole new dash holder as its in perfect shape.

I was in Phoenix visiting a sick friend for 2 wks. & need to get around. I didn't have time to study how to use it and not tech savvy, but it was so simple to use for my needs. I only tried to use the Voice 2X, but had difficulty with that. Back home now I haven't had a need for it. It was much easier to use than our old Tom Tom.

Pleasingly accurate directions to destinations 99% of the time. Lifetime maps and traffic a great idea for gift to a young adult. Pretty easy to set up and use. Faster and better sound than earlier versions from this company. 2.5 hour battery life a good improvement, too. I'd recommend this for anyone planning to keep one for the long term. I have some concern about the quarterly map updates--the program froze the first time it was used, there's no FAQ for this situation, only the warning that "disconnecting the receiver from the computer may have unpredictable results". Not reassuring to a kid running this for the first time. In this case, the result seems to be the lack of items on a help screen, and the lack of ability to enter numbered street names, such as 16th Street.

Nice improvement over my nuvi 1350 old model......faster, more features, easier to read

So far, so good. I have used this on just a few trips so far. I have noticed that the traffic reporting is pretty sketchy, not the fault of the unit, just not available in many places. The smartphone interface is pretty nifty, and the Bluetooth with my S5 was seamless. Voice quality was weak, but acceptable. When I programmed a trip, the unit offered me the primary route plus several options along with the time for each.

The GPS is easy to install and use, the multiple lanes close up feature is very useful.

We purchased this Garmin after our last one took a dive into a cup of water, and never recovered. We had it for 6 years and never had any issues so I knew another Garmin was the way to go. My oh my how technology has changed! This Garmin is great. Compact but easy to see and use. My husband loved all of the optional vehicle icons you could use (haha). We have only used this a few times but so far so good!

I have a previous model that didn't provide the posted speed limit so I decided to purchase this unit. I absolutely love this feature! I also love it's "hands free" capability. Being able to answer and talk on the phone as well as end the call without ever reaching for my phone is a welcome addition. I also enjoy being able to use basically all the other features via Voice Commands. In short: I Love It!

We use this when traveling. I also got lost coming home in the fog once and this device "saved" me. I just hit the "go home" feature and Garmin told me where my turns and stops were. The fog was really bad and Garmin was my eyes. Not sure I would have made it home safely that night had it not been for this device.

I wish I had gotten the HD model but that was another $150. dollars. This one does a good job just not so bright in bright sun light. It has all the bells and whistles. It has to be plugged in during use because internal battery last only about 4 hours. It is better than using a cell phone to drive by.

I bought this for voice recognition and phone Bluetooth if you use the Bluetooth people on the other end can not hear you very well but you can hear th I can't get the voice recognition to work for me but as a gps it's great . Easy to view easy to program easy to listen to.. Over all I give a 4 for what it is.. Not five for what it doesn't do that it should..

Had an older Garmin unit and never had any issues with it but thought it was time for a new one. This one has a bigger screen and contains a lot more information on the display. it's nice to have the speed limit info posted and the traffic information can be invaluable. Have only used it a few times so far and it got me from A to B without any issues.

Love this, we have always used Garmins. Love using the blue tooth. Very easy to use.
