I have had several Garmin units over the years, each better than the last. This item offers spot-on directions with nearly effortless updating of the maps. Very impressed with the accuracy of this unit.

This is my third Garmin and the fifth we have bought (we bought them for our son and daughter as well). I have also owned one Magellan, but it cannot compete with Garmin. Nice options for displaying data the way you want it. Voice prompt timing is sometimes off, so you have to check the display to be sure when it says "turn right here". This one doesn't have road names in the voice prompts, which I miss.

This model is great and acurate. I was looking for a GPS that works in Mexico and Canada, and this is the indicate. It works great for a reasonable price.

I bought this GPS for my dad and he loved it! Now I bought one for my boyfriend and he LOVES it! He has had multiple GPSs and this is by far the best!

The new Garmin is easy to use, eat to understand and easy to program! The vocal instructions are easy to understand and the directions are straight forward! We would highly recommend this product!!!

When I purchase my GPS i was a little scare because i was a custume to my old one. But I'm glad i made the switch because know i have a larger screen and i like the way that it guides me and the graphics

I love this GPS. User friendly and lifetime maps have been very useful. Have not had the opportunity to utilize the traffic updates, but overall a great, easy-to-use GPS. Very sleek looking design.

Very accurate and, considering its small size, this GPS is easy to read at a glance while driving. Lifetime map & traffic updates make it hard to beat; especially at the "Sale" price I paid for it.

I purchased the GPS the morning I left for a trip and was on the road in 10 minutes after plugging it in and setting it up. Easy to Use and better then the one I had before.

This gps gets me everywhere that i need to be in a timely manner and the function of being hands free is terrific. It cuts nso much time off by being able to speak to it then typing in the address

Thought of buying 7" but glad I bought 5". Clear screen, great feathers and does not block view. Phone app is OK. Bought it for traffic updates but not as helpful as I had hoped.

The Garmin Nuvi 2597 was a great buy. It was so easy to use right out of the box. Great unit never can go wrong with a Garmin. My older GPS was a TomTom what a piece of junk always cutting out. I would buy a Garmin again no problem.

This is the first one I have used and it is very user friendly. My husband uses it for work and he loves it, he drives all day. We used it for our trip to Florida from Missouri and it was wonderful!

This was the best GPS system at the time when I bought it. Easy to setup and install and great for hands free navigation with voice command controls.

This gps is great, the only thing is it has to be fully charged in order to turn it on. In the beginning it would take a while to turn on until it was connected to the battery outlet in my car.

I've had TomTom and Garmins. I bought this one for a friend. Garmin has been steady never any issues! The TomTom was always crashing after 3rd update. Garmin is easy to use and easy to update.

Thought that I couldn't do better than the GPS I already had but this is so much better at being user friendly...worth every penny for the upgrade!

A great GPS. The variety of male and female voices to help you is excellent. Garmin is truly the top quality line of GPS units. I especially enjoy being able to see speed versus speed limit that changes to red when speeding. I also enjoy being able to see altimeter readings as i drive cross country. Another top notch feature is locating your restaurant in your present area or farther down the road. Helps for planning a trip. You can set all this up while at home on your kitchen table. It is easy to add loactions to favorites for quick access later.

Great performance and clear screen. Very easy to use. I bought it on sale. I hope to catch it on sale again and buy another one for my wife's car. I recommend this to anybody that needs one.
