Wasn't totally sure what we wanted when we purchased the Garmin, but since I use one daily for work I knew how they perform. Been happy with it so far and enjoy the Bluetooth option on it.

It had been over 7 years since I last had a Garmin. My last two GPSs were TomTom. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much Garmin has improved its technology and accuracy. My best GPS yet.

This Garmin GPS is very easy to use. The directions were clear and understandable. I feel this is a good GPS to have in the car or take it with you when you need directions to walk someplace.

Bought my wife a new Garmin GPS - she uses hers on a daily basis, and likes the set-up. New Garmin was easy to upload all her favorites to - just a few quick clicks and it was ready to go!

I bought this for a friend who is NOT tech savy! It worked, she was able to work it out and get where we needed her on time! She loves that it is hands free and she can link it ot her phone.

This Garmin was a great graduation gift. It gives me as a parent some relief knowing that my child has one less thing to think about on the road and will always be able to find his way home.

We have owned a number of Garmin GPS units throughout the years purchased from Best Buy. They are always the best choice and this one is no exception. I would highly recommend this one.

This was a gift for my DH who only wants "practical" gifts. He already had a GPS but it was older, and not too accurate despite updates. He had started using the navigation on his I phone instead, but that used tons of data. This GPS was the perfect solution and a gift he didn't know he needed! The map detail is outstanding. But the best part is that he now has Bluetooth and can use it to answer his phone and stay hands-free. His car is 10 years old so he doesn't have Bluetooth built in. Great product at a reasonable price!

The built in Bluetooth makes it so convenient for driving. The split screen makes exiting an ease and not only that it shows what lane you should be in when the freeway splits! Great device

I love everything about it besides a minor glitch with the contrast. I needed it to be at 100% and it kept going all the way down to 20% on its own. It made it kind of hard to view the screen and was a bit frustrating. I've only used it 3 times so far and it did this 2 out of the 3 times. Other than that its easy to use and the features are awesome. I especially like that it shows a real pic of the exit to take.

I am a new driver who always feel nervous to drive in the unfamiliar area. This navigation helps me a lot to explore new spots. It is worth if you need an accurate and up to date model.

Previous Garmin units that I tried had a lot of trouble connecting to satellites in my area. There are a lot of hills and low areas. Even my XM receiver in the car has trouble in places. That all seems to be over with the nüvi 2597LMT - 5 that we recently purchased. My wife travels for work a lot and HAS to have something to help her get around, and this is it. We have been using Magellan units up until the last one died and this was in the price range we were working with and, while i was skeptical at first, I am so over it. With traffic assistance, bluetooth connectivity and lifetime updates, this is a great piece of hardware to have in the car!

The first time I updated maps it took 7 hours. Love the way it shows lanes when you are going to take a new road. Traffic alerts are great

This is my third Garmin GPS. It works great!. They've eliminated the annoying "Recalculating" warning when you alter your route. You can download and customize the "pointer". Recommended.

I bought this GPS for my dad since he needed a new one to replace his old Garmin GPS. It's the best GPS we've ever use! No problems at all.

I bought this device to upgrade my old GPS before a couple of long road trips for the holidays. It works great and has a lot of little features that pop up automatically that really helped me out on my trip. If there was construction or an accident ahead, the GPS would alert me and offer alternate routes if there were any. Great tool to have!

Travelled to Northern VA & Washington DC to visit family. Haven't been down there in a while. This little device got us to every place we needed to be and back home without a hitch.

I have always been partial to Garmin. This was a good price for this item. I enjoy the voice command option. I hate punching the address in and with voice command, I speak only. 9 times out of 10 it works well.

I enjoyed using this GPS. It gives you instructions which are very accurate. I am very happy to know that I can count on this to get me where I need to be especially since I am alone in the car most of the time.

My wife decided that she wanted my existing Garmin, so I had to buy a new one and this one seemed like the best deal for me. Easy set up and registration and I'm already enjoying using it. I can recommend this model.
