bought for my wife and it's simple enough for her to use

Instead of getting a Garmin with our rental car, we bought this one. It has more features and will pay for itself in 3 car rentals! Hands free phone and voice command are excellent safety features.

Blue tooth is easy to set up and is clear for both the caller and the called. Voice command is generally good. On occasion it won't display the nearest business, ie: I was traveling and I knew that I was close to a Walmart but I wasn't sure which route it was on. The list it gave had the nearest one 15 miles away, when the nearest one was 4 miles away. Doesn't happen often but it has happened enough for me to note it. This is the only problem I have had. It calculates the route quickly and it recalculates seamlessly without that annoying "recalculating" alert broadcast. A really nice feature is that it alerts you when you are 4 tenths of a mile from a school zone and places an orange bar across the top of the screen that counts down the distance to the zone.

does everything it was supposed to do, but voice commands require a bit of a wait before speaking. Sometimes gets confused as to what you say. Way too many software updates for a new unit. The maps are not even loaded. Had 2 system updates in the first month. Would recommend to a friend, but would warn about voice and initial updates.

I find the search feature very helpful, unlike the older models, it searched for street city state slowly, step by step and sometimes you even had to change the state or county, setting, very annoying, this one sets if for you easily without much hassle, I am very happy with my purchase!

Great gift for my husband works better than expected

There were a few times when it was directing me to some routes that I didn't want to take by keep asking me to make a u-turn for the next 7 miles or so, it did a decent job of getting me from point A to point B.

We got this after being frustrated with our cell phone map ap. The screen is bright and easy to see. The voice directions are clear and provide enough detail in advance that navigation is a breeze. Wish we could see a list turns on route without having to use the saved trips feature. Other than that we really like this unit.

I hooked this up on my motorcycle and it works great

over all it is a good gps.it help me fine different places.

This GPS works well and provides for Traffic monitoring as well as directions. It is a nice size and frees your mobile phone for use while driving.. That is espedially nice on longer trips. I highly recommend this GPS unit.

I am using this product for a while, I like this product and would recommend as well.. You will be getting alerts for slowing down near school area.. other option you can connect this device to your smartphone..

Large and easy to see and use. Great screen. I like how you can see food and gas on the map screen. Great traffic updates too. Thanks Garmin!

Having a Garmin and not knowing the streets or area one feels safer in traveling and being able to get to the destination safely. Common sense should always prevail in following any technologically updated item.

I bought this for my work. I travel and have to have certain designation to be at. This will not take you the same way twice if you prefer to do so. It gives you multiple ways and times to getting there. Just keep it updated and you'll never have a problem.

Works ok. Route Recalculation is slow and showing as 0.2 miles for turning when it really lesser than that. Bluetooth feature is awesome which helps really to make or attend the calls on the go.. I would recommend any of the 6 inch garmin gps but not this one.

This is my third Garmin. All are still working but I have upgraded to newer technology and given the old units to family members. I love that you can program in an avoidance of a certain road or area (such as the Capital Beltway)! The smart phone app is great and the price is reasonable.

I use it everyday not one problem ever very easy to use

This product works completely as advertised. (Though I've only used it in the U.S.) I love that if I miss a turn, or a turn is blocked by traffic or an accident, my route is immediately and automatically updated. Haven't found myself lost since I purchased it (and that's saying something for me)!
