    Purchased this for a trip to Connecticut (through NYC) from Missouri and it was a godsend! Like most Garmin GPS devices, it can do a lot more than what you thought, once you go online to see what all it can do. Really like it; do wish we'd gotten the one that gives live traffic reports, but don't need that function on a regular basis, so this one is fine.

    Bought this model as a replacement for another Garmin Nuvi because I wasn't able to update maps online. While purchasing this model talked with another customer who had the same problem. This is not a buy, plug in and use, you still have to download maps and it does take hours. Just used this model on a 3,000 mile trip and it worked well. Like this model as categories are much easier to pull up quickly.
