I've had the Taxtics 7 ballistics for a couple of years. The Tactix 8 pro ballistics is even better, brighter, clearer screen, better buttton response, the voice functions are nice upgrade. #1 Best feature is the extended battery life!

I love watches! I have so many different kinds including but not limited to automatic, windup and smart. I was previously using Apple smart watches and happy with their performance until one of my co-workers purchased a Garmin Tactix 8 and told me I have to check it out for myself. So I purchased the Tactix 8 solar elite. This watch is absolutely ridiculous! It has so features I dont even know what to do with it. You can literally do anything with this watch. I have had zero issues with it so far and still have yet to charge it. I highly recommend Garmin.

I have been a garmin watch guy forbyears. I have mainly use the Fenix line. However, after using the Taxtic line for about two weeks, I think I found my newest line. I am never going back to Fenix line.

I love it!! Extremely durable and the battery lasts me easily a month. The maps are great for hiking and locating trails and lakes. I love using the hiking feature. It tracks avg speed, heart rate, distance, elevation, and will map out the path you took and saves it all to look at later or share with friends. My brothers also have these watches and it’s fun to compete with each other!! 10/10 would recommend!!

Excellent Smartwatch! Has all the tactic's stuff for my PRS matches as well as the ability to Track all my activities. I really take advantage of all the health metrics and sleep tracking. For additional tracking the watch also pairs with Strava seamlessly. The bands are very easily swapped so you can pick any color you want. Really happy with the purchase.

Fist off, dislikes.. None! This tactical smartwatch is by far the best, and looks sick! Battery life is amazing, with solar charging! Quality build, looks great, and is made like a tank! If i lost it today, i would definitely spend the money to buy it right back. Any activity you can think of, it has it! Apple, and Samsung watches, are toys compared to this. I definitely recomend this if you're military, police, emergency response, firefighter, outdors type of person, or just a civilian who likes to keep health and fitness tracking.

Amazing watch, if you’re into the outdoors, fitness or in military this watch is definitely worth the price tag. ( I recommend purchasing the nylon band as well )

Great watch to use holds up well during my training only issue I have is the metal wire inside the strap fell out during my fighting match

As an upgrade from the Garmin Fenix 5X this watch is on steroids even when compared to the Fenix 8. It has everything in the Fenix 8 and more. It is a beautiful and sleek design. The battery life is exceptional at 30 days

Happy so far, will get back to review after a month or so.
