So let me start by saying I love watches. The last activity watch I had was the Fossil Q54Pilot. It got me kind of spoiled. The Vívoactive is missing the two most important things on a watch to me (activity tracker or regular). There is no date on the face of the watch, and the hands do not glow in the dark. Other than that it's pretty good. It is much more lightweight than most regular analog watches. The band is super comfortable. You don't have to charge it once a week like most. Probably my favorite feature is the little band holder. It holds the extra band so that it's not flapping all over the place. Overall 4stars. Would be 5 if it wasn't missing the simplist of features.

I do not normally write reviews but I felt obligated on this one. I almost did not get this watch due to the syncing issue, but I am glad I didn't listen. Maybe Garmin came out with an update but I have not experienced anything other than exactly what I expected. That is an analog watch that doubles as a pedometer. It is resistant enough to workout in and slick enough to wear with a suit. I also have never experienced the syncing issue, it has always worked for me on my iPhone 6. In fact, it syncs faster than my vivofit used to. There is no vibration when you reach your goal, but there is nothing wrong with going over a goal right? And if the full bar is not an indication enough, then you can just sync it to see your numbers. In the end, I could not be happier with this product especially at its price point and would recommend it to anyone looking for a pedometer they can wear with a suit or casual wear and is more than just a bracelet.

The Garmin Vivomove is simple but elegant. I can wear it with a tshirt and jeans or a suit. It is also comfortable on the wrist, which is hard for me to find. The watch is as simple as can be. No date, just time. The face is big and easy to read, but bulky or heavy. The steps functions are also easy to interpret and see.

I am extremely pleased with my Garmin watch with its step tracking and reminders, and once I got through the setup process with my smart phone, it was very easy to get excited about meeting the daily and weekly goals. I also love the "classic" styling of the watch. Only thing missing is being able to see it in the dark.

Overall, the watch works great! Would recommend. But I wouldn't recommend without telling others about a couple of annoyances. The watch tracks my steps and alerts me when to be active, without being intrusive or obvious. I've also received many compliments! It's a sleek modern watch that just happens to be a step counter. One problem I've had (and others have had) is syncing the watch to the app. I have to restart Bluetooth on my phone for it to work. I've also accidentally pulled the pin on the watch with my clothing, which stops the watch's hands.

I became very frustrated with Fitbit after going through 5 of them. I decided to try Garmin but did not want to spend a fortune. This is a good looking watch that doubles as a basic step and sleep tracker. Works well and syncs with my phone quickly and flawlessly. love the fact that you can change the battery and not have to throw it away and spend another couple of hundred dollars like Fitbit. Wish it had a lighted dial and I occasionally catch the pin and inadvertently change the time, but so far I like it.

This is a good activity tracker if you are into the daily workout routines and to track your sleep activity. It has been accurate. Syncing is easy and set up with a few clicks. The fact that it looks like a watch is what drew me to this one. There is no HR tracking or stairs, but for other tracking it does the job.

I had a Withings watch that I lost and was looking to replace it and decided to try the Garmin Vivomove. Very good looking watch. The 1st one I had work well for a few days then it stopped telling time all of sudden. It started all by itself again but would not connect to the app after that. I returned that one and got a replacement. That one wouldn't connect to the app from the start. Returned that one ad got another replacement. This one connected to the app once and then wouldn't. I called Garmin and spoke with support for an hour and a half while they tried to figure out the problem. I thought all was well and then it stopped working again. I'm returning it and getting a Withings!

I wanted a tracker that didn't look like a child's toy around my wrist. No extra bells and whistles here, just what you need. Also, no charging! Battery life is rated at one year.

I bought this for two purposes- a large faced watch and a step counter. Ran into a couple blips when I first started syncing to the app, but once I got the idea to follow the directions to a “T”, no problems. Simple and easy to use if you are just starting out on a fitness journey like me.

After many of tracking watches (Fitbit, vivofit, vivosmart), the Vivimove hits the nail for me. It's a watch with some tracking elements built in. It's not a minicomputer on my wrist, it's a watch. I've lost every single previous "watch" due to water. They l say water resistant, but I lost one when I put my hand in the sink, not even 12" deep. This one seems to be hanging in there and battery life being 12 months is a huge bonus.

This watch is elegant. The only thing is you have to sync to your phone to find out your details. does not have any bells and whistles like other tracking watches.

This is a good activity tracker for anyone who is wanting to keep informed of their steps and sleep patterns, but prefers having a watch on their wrist. This watch from Garmin covers the basics with monitoring your activity and includes visual displays on the watch face for quick reference and inspiration. The recording of information has a high degree of accuracy, including during workouts on machines and not just running/walking. The APP takes a bit of getting used to, but works well once you have used it a while. The set up was easy and syncing seems to require the manual touch, but again painless to do it once a day. I selected the "Sport" as I preferred the look of the watch. I was not a fan of the plastic band, but found many replacement band options in leather for times I am going out. It is just a standard 20 mm band, but many companies are now making them with the "quick change sliders" where the band attaches to the watch. This makes it easy to switch between the plastic band for the gym and leather for going out. For someone who is into every day fitness tracking, this may be just what you were looking for.

I purchased this watch for myself and immediately purchased another for my father in law. It looks great for a casual, gym, and even for business watch. I don't use the garmin app too often as I just like the watch itself not so much for the smart phone capabilities.

This is a great cheap watch, still using it after 4 years and working great, it also looks good.

I really like the simplicity of this watch. It looks great on my wrist, and it helps me stay active by tracking my activity. I like that I don't have to charge it every night, and it is very comfortable.

My husband likes that it doesn't look like a sport watch. He wears it to work and at the gym etc. Pretty easy to use and it keeps him motivated. We do wish it had more features but does the job.

Looks great, functions like a normal watch, easy to read activity progress, nice to have get moving notifications.
