I have not called customer service, but have followed all instructions. Will see if it can be resolved. Otherwise it is not able to be used as a watch when traveling due to time zone changes

Posted .Hello Traveler, Thank you for taking time to review the vivosmart HR +. This device has the ability to update the time and date on the device in two ways. When the time setting is set to automatic it will either use the phones time and date, or will update when the device connects to a satellite signal. The time can also be set manually.
