Customers highly value the GPS, heart rate tracking, and long battery life of the vivosmart HR+ Activity Tracker. Many appreciate its ease of use and waterproof design, finding it accurate for tracking steps, sleep, and other activities. However, some find the device bulky and the display could be improved. I have tried the hr and the hr+ both have been extremely disappointed with their inaccurate calorie counting. They tell me that I burn an average of 10000 - 18000 calories a day. I have called tech support and spent 2 hours on the line checking all the settings. The guy on the other end said everything looked good and he was going to put a ticket in for the problem to be reviewed. About a week later I get an email from the support telling me I need to check my settings. I let them know this had been done and haven't heard anything since. Not sure the quality of the tech support. I wish I would have returned it before my fifteen days ran out!!!

Hello Jrob, Thank you for taking time to review the vivosmart HR+. We are sorry to see that you are having trouble with the calorie burn estimates provided by the device. Seeing over 10000 is unusual and if we have checked all of the user profile settings and confirmed that your heart rate readings are within expected ranges we will want to take a closer look at is what might be occurring. Please send an email to [email protected] so that we can look at this further. -JFH Garmin

I have had a garmin vivofit for years. Able to swim, shower, etc.. without taking it off. Desired to upgrade, new wearable is larger and bulkier, and has to be plugged in weekly...

Almost impossible to set up. Watch would NOT change for day lite savings. I had to return to the store to have it reset. I will not purchase another Garmin. It is not user friendly at all. Had Fitbit before and had problems with the band. Best Buy no longer warranties fit bit. That was my main reason to buy the garmin. Never again.

I purchased this for my daughter for a Christmas present. She wore it two weeks before it stopped working and now will not even charge. I finally got a chance to go by the Best Buy where I bought it and they said to call the manufacturer. I am very disappointed in Best Buy and would caution anyone from going there.

I bought this as a Christmas gift to myself last year and have lost over 20lbs. I can't thank Garmin enough for this lifestyle change. I used to come home after work and watch tv, eat dinner and sleep. Now I'm motivated to workout to meet daily step count goals and win challenges! 1)Design/feel: cool and smooth- I keep it on almost all day due to the rubber wristband. 2)Charge: you hardly need to charge it- I charge it while I shower. 3)Activities: You'll be able to track just about everything you do at the gym, walks, cycling, swimming, running, etc and see how many calories you burnt, time per lap and so on- it even captures when you walk fast under moveIQ but it won't give you a calorie burn breakdown. 4)Move bar/move jolt: This gets me moving at work, allowing me to get off my chair and get some steps in. Love it! 5)Step Goal: The goal increases or decreases by a bit depending on previous day's outcome. I wake up everyday with the intention to meet my new step goal. 6)Garmin App/Community: The app has a ton of information for you to see your workouts, sleep, weight over periods and it compares your data with other users in your demographic. You can join groups and connect with people from around the world. Garmin also automatically enters you into a challenge with users in your own step activity level which is great to keep you engaged and active. 7)GPS: Very reliable. At first it may take a few minutes depending on area but next time you use it in the same area it is much faster. I've already logged activities all over the world- NYC, Pennsylvania and Dominican Republic.
