The technicians arrived in a timely manner and performed their duties professionally and efficiently. Several valves needed to be installed or brought up-to-code. The previous semi-rigid vent was replaced with the proper rigid vent pipe which required some minimal carpentry. We were informed about what needed to be accomplished and the cost prior to any work being done. Excellent customer service. We do not expect to have any problems with the county inspection of the work this month.

I was required to purchase a new gas line, vent kit and water hose kit for the installation of my new washer and gas dryer, along with what i paid for the installation of the two. Overall the professionalism of the installation was great. However, they did not have the correct length and fitting size (replacement gas line) and they used the old one. When I mentioned that i was told i had to use a new line, their response was well i have to change the fitting on my gas line ( i have 1/2", while the hose they brought was 3/8"). They did not offer to replace the 3/8" with the 1/2". When i called the installation company, i was told they should have returned and got the correct gas line....

My installer identified two issues that needed to be corrected from the original dryer gas line installation done over 25 years ago. Installer indicated that the gas line code has changed since the original installation. WSSC will fail the permit unless two items are corrected. I was given a quote for the work which I okayed and he fixed the problems. When WSSC came out to inspect the new gas line connection to the gas dryer he passed the permit. I watched as he inspected the work the installer had done. He commented that whoever had done the work was very good.

This review is for the second team that came to replace the damaged non-functional dryer and fix the venting so it was the proper rigid tubing. They were very professional and efficient.

The installers were pleasant, professional and showed up on time. They did a great job of actually installing the gas dryer. HOWEVER, there was some serious miscommunication between Best Buy and the installation company regarding the type of venting required by the MA gas code. The venting supplied by Best Buy was not able to be used. This was very frustrating and a number of phone calls were required to resolve the issue. Overall, a disappointing experience.

The two guys who installed were good, but they did not get the dryer very close to the wall and so it does stick out several inches where the pervious gas dryer did not.
