    We are still dealing with COVID. The main installer had a mask. I had to give his partner one. They should check for leaks. The dryer was installed quickly and they used my gas leak detector to make sure there were no problems.

    I have to say that the installation team made this purchase worth it! They were extremely professional very courteous and helped me in anyway they could! As for the machines...they are amazing and work like a charm! I would highly recommend them!

    The gas dryer installers were friendly and knowledgeable and even leveled my washer that was delivered and installed the day before by a different company’s installer, who left without leveling the washer. Super satisfied with the service!

    He did not carry the gas installation part with him . We rushed to the store at the same time. After that he said I’ll charge $200 for the installation. As a totel tec member the installation was free. I don’t know why this happened.

    The installation crew were great. Called ahead of arrival, arrived on time promised and went about work in a professional manner. They cleaned up and answered all our questions

    Crew was solid. However, the Geek Squad had previously said I was ready to go; however, when the installers came, they required a gas shut off at the valve. Could have done it myself cheaper, but paid $$$ to have them do it just to move forward with the install.

    Although the team wasn’t aware of taking out old dryer away they figured out how to get out. It’s not an easy task with having our items downstairs and an older home.

    3 scheduled delivery, 2 failures, Broken Promises

    I ordered the dryer for my 95-year-old mom. Despite the website said 3 day delivery and install, Best Buy required three months before they finally delivered a functional dryer. In the first scheduled deliveries, no one showed up. No one informed us they wouldn't show up. Days after waiting during the scheduled window of 8AM - 1PM we learned they didn't have a dryer to deliver, nor did they know if they would have one at the time we scheduled the appointment. The second time they showed up within the scheduled window and we insisted they test the dryer out prior to leaving. We were shocked to hear that installation did not include testing the dryer to make sure it worked. When they tested it the dryer wasn't able to generate heat and therefore was Dead on Arrival. I spent several hours on the phone and in the store with Best Buy attempting to get a working dryer for my 95 year old mom. During one of the store visits I was informed by a manager that scheduling a delivery doesn't mean they actually have a product to deliver, which I guess is not so bad. I also learned when they don't have the product to deliver they will not notify you until after the scheduled installation date has passed. I also received in writing during one of my chats with Best Buy certain promises which I later learned, even though it was in writing the person gave the promise (a Supervisor) didn't have the authority to promise anything. After this experience I am never going to order anything requiring someone to be on-site during delivery and installation. Their policy of not notifying a customer they can't deliver until after the delivery window closes and not honoring promises in writing is why I gave them a single star. Eventually I did end up with a working dryer and why I would have given them 5 stars had Best Buy delivered a "working" dryer during the initial 3 days promised on their website. BTW - I attempted to follow-up with Best Buy corporate customer service, unfortunately none of my efforts to engage them were responded to. Don

    2 Brothers Installation (not Geek Squad) failed

    When the washer and dryer was ordered, we did not realize that there had to be a quick repair before the washer and dryer could be installed. Even though we were told by a Best Buy employee in the appliances section in the Staten Island store that Geek Squad would do the delivery and installation (paid $139 for installation), however, Geek Squad was not involved at all but instead a 3rd party agent known as 2 BROTHERS INSTALLATION INC. of 539 Wild Avenue, Staten Island, NY was acting on Best Buy's behalf. Because of the needed repair required as a prerequisite to the installation of the washer and dryer that we just discovered, we called Best Buy after trying to get through to them for 2 hours earlier in October and we postpone our delivery. Despite that, 2 workers from 2 BROTHERS INSTALLATION INC. ignored our postponement of the delivery that we arranged with Best Buy and they came to our home anyway the same day with the washer and dryer. 2 BROTHERS INSTLLATION INC. forced us to take delivery of the washer and dryer even though we had postponed delivery earlier that day. The lied to us and pressured us to take the delivery of the washer and dryer that was on their delivery truck when they insisted it would be 3 weeks until we got re-delivery of the washer and dryer if we did not accept delivery that moment. We felt we had little to no options and needed the washer and dryer. So the 2 men from 2 BROTHERS INSTALLATION INC. dropped off the washer and dryer in the garage and they refused to bring it downstairs to the cellar as was required since we ordered "relocation" and "delivery" and "installation" as shown on the receipt. 2 BROTHERS INSTALLATION INC. wrongfully refused to move out the old washer and dryer even though we were entitled to this service as stated on our Best Buy receipt. The 2 workers from 2 BROTHERS INSTALLATION INC. gave us the business card of their company and told us to call their company to reschedule the INSTALLATION of the washer and dryer --- as service which was already paid for at Best Buy for $139 --- for once the needed repair was done. The next day, we had a professional do the needed repair and then we immediately called 2 BROTHERS INSTALLATION INC. to arrange for the installation and relocation of the washer and dryer (and to move the old ones out). However, after making several attempts over several days to reschedule with 2 BROTHERS INSTALLATION INC. (including speaking to a woman who answered their business phone and leaving very detailed voicemail messages with our return phone number without any response back from them), it was clear that 2 BROTHERS INSTALLATION INC. didn't care about our situation and they were avoiding us and so we had to make other arrangements for the relocation and installation which cost us additional money above and beyond the $139. We complained about the situation to a higher level of Best Buy corporate about this. Even though Best Buy finally -- after many requests and several weeks-- refunded the $139 and finally sent us a gift card that they offered to help remediate the situation, we had such a bad experience with the company they used (2 BROTHERS INSTALLATION INC. of 539 Wild Avenue, Staten Island, NY) and we were not given the Geek Squad even though we were told by Best Buy that it was the Best Buy Geek Squad that was supposed to handle the installation of the washer and dryer (which was not the case at all), we are still Best Buy customers --- but we do not trust the installation service they offer because of this past experience and because it is not the Geek Squad. As an Elite Plus member having spent thousands of dollars at Best Buy, we should have been given the Geek Squad as promised or at least been given the proper information regarding who was acting on their behalf and been given an honest and competent 3rd party agent. Also, 2 BROTHERS INSTALLATION INC. were extremely unprofessional and we almost considered terminating our relationship with Best Buy with respect the purchase of future products because of the aggravation that Best Buy's 3rd party agent, 2 BROTHERS INSTALLATION INC., caused us and their lack of professionalism and misrepresentation in dealing with us on the delivery and relocation of the washer and dryer issue along with avoiding us in fulfilling their duty to install the washer and dryer after they had insisted that we take delivery on these items despite having postponed delivery at the risk of not receiving then for 3 weeks (a fact which Best Buy employees later told us that 3 weeks would not have happened).

    I believe Al was his name. They were very professional, came in did what they had to do and left once we were satisfied. They are an asset to your service and installation department. Very good installers
