Installed quickly and carefully. Love my new dryer

The first attempt was unsuccessful as the installers couldn’t loosen the gas connection and suggested I have a handyman or gas company rep come over to take care of it, which I did. The second attempt/visit was fine.

I would've rated a 5, but the gas line wasn't turned on and couldn't figure out why my dryer wasn't heating up. Ended up calling Bestbuy for help and they sent out another dryer. Well, in the end we figured out the first delivery guy didn't turn on the gas valve a week or so later.

The installers went above and beyond, they saw the need to replace my gas line valve and they did, at no additional cost. The installers took their time, were gentle with the equipment and explained functionality. The installation job is very professional.

The washer is somewhat complicated to use. Once you figure it out, it works out well.

The installation of our washer dryer was not correct, professional or even COVID safe. The installers showed up with the washer, dryer and no stacking kit because they left it at a previous house - which was no big deal, they simply told us that and left to retrieve it. When they came back one of the installers explained to us that “2 screws are missing so it won’t be safe. Would you still like us to install them.” I’m not quite sure what kind of question that is when you just told us it won’t be safe and they can clearly see me holding my 2 month old daughter in my arms but ok, I’ll play along and answer “no, I would like it installed properly”. The guy proceeds to explain to me that “the where house” didn’t give them the correct stacking kit and shows us that the name on the box that contains the kit isn’t even my name. I have no clue why he showed us this - all I interpreted that as was that they used our kit at someone else’s house and are now using this kit for us but whatever, as long as it’s the correct item I couldn’t care less. I noticed that the box containing the kit was also opened so I asked if that’s how the screws got lost - because they opened it and they probably fell out. He literally just scratches his head an explains how he doesn’t know what happened to the screws, says he looked everywhere at the previous house and asked that home owner as well, and then he literally tells us we can even call the guy at the house they were just at to even ask him. So let’s recap this delivery and installation so far: shows up without stacking kit. Comes back with a stacking kit not with my name on it. Kit is opened and missing screws. Installer is willing to give me another customers personal phone number! Also, this guys mask keeps falling all the way down (and he’s pulled it down a few times too) and I have now had to tell him to please keep his nose and mouth covered, as if this pandemic is new news. Anyways, so now he offers me the option of refusing the installation. He has no clue when we would actually get the washer and dryer if we refuse it now. Very helpful. I then ask if I can have his managers name and number, since he keeps saying it’s the where houses fault for not giving him the right box. First he says he doesn’t have a manager. After calling him out as a liar he admits he does have a manager but he’s not giving me his name or number. Won’t give me the name of a where house either. So now I try calling Best Buy while they’re still here to get some answers; like, when can I have this installed correctly and Best Buy leaves me on hold for over 30 minutes then hangs up on me. I end up accepting the washer dryer and as they’re installing it they inform me that the screws from my current washer and dryers stacking kit are the same size as this stacking kit so they use those to make up for the missing screws. I still have no ever been able to get a hold of anyone on the phone at Best Buy to complain about this. I paid, I think over 200 bucks, for installation and a stacking kit that was missing screws. Who knows if it was even done properly and if the screws are even a true fit - the dryer is on top and it seems sturdy and like it’s on there well but I really have no way of knowing and I’m not thrilled about this installer who is telling me that it’s on there nice and tight. If this thing ever falls off for some reason Best Buy is going to have a serious problem on their hands, but how do you get something checked or done right when the company doesn’t even take the time to talk to you about it?! I realize (as time goes on) that it is very rare that people do things correctly or with an pride these days, but this whole process really took the cake for me.

I was VERY pleasantly surprised by their excellent service, the delivery/removal/install all happened very well, quickly, professionally, and well done! Bravo! This was back in 9/2019, but everything has worked great ever since, so that's awesome! I will most definitely be recommending and using BestBuy for both buying and installing of appliances in the future too!

1st dryer was defective, 2nd dryer I like! Very quiet, drys clothes nicely

Excellent delivery service. They had to go up a flight of stairs and they handled it professionally and carefully.

First dryer install...3 delivery fellows did not come with the proper install equipment...that I paid for...took 2 and a half hours to install and haul away the old dryer. And not installed with what I paid for. Second dryer ...replacement ...delivered and 2 fellows claimed dryer not hooked up properly. Used new kit they brought with that i paid for. Still feel issues with drying. Third crew of installers came when I called for repair. They were told by dispatch that the dryer was in the garage and needed hook up. NO
