Heat item looks good and does everything it’s supposed to cook

I wanted to replace a very inexpensive microwave that I bought from Best Buy to use temporarily until I had researched and found a really good microwave. I thought this really good microwave was going to be the GE JES1072SHSS. It wasn't the one. As soon as I unpacked this microwave, and pressed the open button, I knew the quality was just not there. The open button wobbled and felt close to breaking the first time I touched it. Many of the other components seemed also of inferior quality. I boxed it back up and am now using my inexpensive, temporary microwave until I can fine one that actually is a quality item.

I got this for my husband for Christmas to be able to heat up his meals while he is working.

I am a little disappointed in this microwave. It is difficult to find a small microwave that actually is big enough to hold standard items and has any power. This unit was barely large enough inside. Unfortunately it is only 700 watts, so I find it underpowered.

Replacement for another insignia microwave. Only lasted 1.5 years and stopped working. Hope this one lasts much longer. So far so good. Been working well.

My husband picked this one, because he wanted a low wattage microwave...well this is pretty low wattage. Takes to turns at 2min to get things heated. So if that's what you are seeking, this is the microwave for you.

The door did not open properly from day one. I called GE to see if there was a quick fix, but they said to return the product to Best Buy.....easier said than done as I do not have a car. After experimenting I finally figured out a way to get the door open but it requires pushing down on the upper right corner of the door while simultaneously pushing in on the “opener” with the other hand. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Works efficiently and i love the options if gives for cooking times.

Great microwave. It was just what I needed for my kitchen.

I was looking for something for low use to heat up baby food and to keep under a island space. This was supposed to be the answer to my size and use requirements but it burned out after using it. I also had problems when I tried to heat up plates of food, it would often leave them cold and required multiple minutes to even bring things to luke warm. It was a terrible purchase.

Both times tried the auto sensor for cooking the food was done a long time before timer would gone off. The pizza was starting to burn and had 10 min left on timer! Baked cookies using convection, they were really good. Jury still out.
