Not powerful at all. I wanted to return it but it was too late by the time i finally used it

This microwave is perfect for me. It is smaller than my old one, but my dinner plates will fit. It is easy to use and I really like Express Cook.

Does what it is suppose to do. Wish I had purchased a larger one so tall cups would fit inside. Burned popcorn the first couple of times, as it seems to take less time to cook that our previous one, even with the popcorn setting.

I bought this microwave in April 2022 and in less than 2 years the paint is peeling and the inside of the microwave is rusting along the top and back edges. Also the door handle does not release everytime so you have to jiggle and pull it open. There is only a one year warranty on this item so Ge won't do anything. Very dissapointed.

After a few weeks, the control panel would sporadically stop responding to me pressing the buttons. I would have to unplug and plug back in to hope that it would work again. Once I did plug back in, it would still not respond to the buttons. I would have to leave it and come back minutes later when it would work. This would go on and on. I called GE to place warranty request. A tech came and determined that GE has no parts available for this unit, except for the spinning glass plate and the turntable for the plate. I now have to buy one out of my own pocket and wait for GE to send me a check for the amount of the new purchase.

The product notwithstanding, my experience was disappointing. Online, Best Buy claimed the product I picked was In Stock, not to mention Many other products, Including many that were on sale. When I made the drive, nearly an hour away, I learned there wasn't even a department any longer for the product I needed. To purchase, I had to order online. This was Exactly what I wanted to avoid. FALSE ADVERTISING! LIARS.

I’ve own this for just a little over a month. It’s to small and the alarm sound that allows you to know when the food is done no longer works. I would not recommend buying this size microwave.
Hi - We are saddened to learn you find the unit is too small for your needs and that the cooking complete reminder is no longer working. We would recommend pressing the Sound pad to ensure the sound was not inadvertently muted. If that is not the issue, try disconnecting power to the microwave for 2-3 minutes and try it again. This microwave is very tricky to use. You can't just press 20 and have it go on for twenty seconds! Many times I have had to unplug it to restart the machine. I would not advise buying this microwave and I would take it back if I were closer to a Best Buy.

The microwave was fine until it shorted out after only 3 months of operation. GE has offered a warranty certificate however, it is for the original purchase price and now it is impossible to find a new one at that price. So because of a factory defect, I am out the difference between what I originally paid and the higher amount I need to pay to replace it.

This is the second microwave in our kitchen. Small size makes it perfect as a countertop-top unit.
