Less than two months: the light is out, closing the door runs the fan. We purchased this model again because the last one lasted two years before it failed, in the same way.

Microwave was a good price but small on the inside.

I got this microwave based on a picture that clearly shows it as an under cabinet mounted microwave. It is not! I also asked the store personnel and they told me that is under cabinet mountable. You can only find that it is not in the the frequently asked questions category. Waste of time and effort.

Cheap microwave. Not very big. Maybe could use it in a college dorm room I will be returning it.

Came defective right out the box. When pushing the button door wouldn’t even open. Don’t recommend.

This microwave doesn't work well and feels really cheap. The buttons aren't always responsive and it takes a long time to heat items up compared to larger ones (that may be the compromise of a smaller size).

I wanted a smaller microwave for my counter. It’s loud and takes forever to hear something up

Had to return it due to the noise made by the revolving base. A loud clicking sound.

Am adjusting to size and lower-power level. It works, and I've reduced my need for "micro-wave" Actually a good thing. I am less dependent and more efficient.

We downsized with this and the wattage apparently is much less than our orior GE Countertop which I threw away before checking wattage. This new one is only 700 watts and needs a full minute to heat up a slice if pizza. Our old model needed only 30 ssconds. My advice, get sonething 900 watts or higher. Not sure why thus smaller version has to be so much weaker.

Would love to see function buttons lit up! Also this would make a great gift for a college student.

The menu bottom is not comparted and does not respond well when pressed.

was not a good chose , got it home and immediately return the product back to the store. found the item was bend and the door was could not close

Too small and does a poor job heating food. I would recommend paying more to get a better microwave. Lesson learned.

The microwave works well but after just over a year it has rusted out inside.

It is attractive and a great fit but returned for only one reason. The key pad is simply to faint to easily read. Realized I would have to keep a flash light nearby. If that wouldn’t bother you, then it is fine.I returned it and got the slightly larger and very easy to read Insigna microwave. That works great so far.

Replaced my old Emerson which went 'south' with this GE. The GE is the same size as the Emerson(even same size turntables-interchangeable), perfectly compact and doesn't take up much counter space. I find that the GE cooks faster and I don't need to add extra minutes to cooking. Imagine that it will depend on the particular food being cooked. Frozen entrees and other foods do well. I read in the instructions that 30 sec of cooking can be added while oven is running, if needed. That is a handy option. The oven looks attractive, not too much stainless, which I am happy about. As for the door, it works fine, and so what if I have to steady the oven while opening the door? Safer to have a tight door than a loose one! Any lightweight oven is going to 'travel' with a tight door, so just use one's other hand to steady it when opening the door! No big deal. For an inexpensive and excellent functioning oven, no complaints here! Does the job intended. What is there not to like? Absolutely nothing for me!

FIRE HAZARD: Owned unit for about 18 months when during the course of normal operation, emitted strong odor of smoke. Others here have commented on fire hazard as well. Will be reporting to BestBuy and CPSC.
