We were looking to downsize from our current microwave and this was perfect. It’s compact, yet still fits our large plates. The only quirk is that you need to press the cancel button to unlock the microwave after use. It took a little to get used to, but now It’s become habit

Just the perfect size I was looking for my kitchen counter besides it’s very nice modern look and a heat up pretty good.

Microwave works well. Giving 4 stars because there is nothing "amazing" that makes this extra special (and, yes, it is hard to give 5 stars to a basic appliance), but it is a good, solid microwave that meets all of our needs. Needed a smaller microwave for a small apartment and this was the best match. Full featured, fairly small, etc.. Has been easy to clean. No complaints.

This microwave meets my expectations in size and color. Although it says "black" it actually matched my GE Slate color appliances perfectly. This lil microwave gets the job done. The only thing I don't like is the button to open the microwave seems to be flimsy. I hope it withstands the test of time.

All in, I spent around 200 bucks on this microwave. It's not impressive. It does heat food, but it's slow and a little small for an average sized dinner plate. I feel like I've overpaid for what I've received. I do like that it can be mounted to an upper cabinet to save counter space.

Great unit with a reasonable size footprint for stand alone table top or counter top locations. Easy function buttons provide direct cook times. Interior is adequate for regular size dinner plate. Adjustments for power settings, cook times and defrost functions are straight forward and easy to accomplish.

I don't have a lot of counter space and needed a compact microwave. This GE microwave is perfect in its size and operation. There are some things that I may need to add an additional 20-30 secs., but it's rare and only 20-30 secs. I've always had a good experience with GE microwaves, and this one doesn't disappoint.

Fits well in our small space. Our older "over the stove" microwave went out a few years ago, and the newer models don't fit in the 12 inch space that is available. Have had to install a stainless steel shelf, and find 11" microwaves to place in there. This one works. The interior only fits items 9 1/2" diameter x 6" tall, so a full size bag of microwave popcorn about fills the entire space. Interior has already discolored. Exterior cleans easily. Would like to see something with the 11" height with a larger interior again. Had one, only lasted two years...they no longer make that model. This was the nicest looking stainless steel model I was able to find.

I took much longer to heat up food than with this microwave than it did with my old microwave (over ten years old). When I heated the food longer to get it to the right temperature, the food was dried out. The button configuration was also confusing, and the Start button was very hard to activate.

It works well. It is a little louder than my previous microwave. If you dont mind cleaning off finger prints then this is a good choice. Size wise it fits perfectly in my space and matches all of my other appliances that are GE and stainless steel.

Nice. Easy to use. I like the child lock feature.

It’s a very good countertop microwave for the money, but I would have paid more for a better one if there was one with the smaller dimensions I needed.

I absolutely love this microwave. Not bulky and fits perfect on my countertop in my apartment. Very easy to clean.

Nice compact microwave takes up minimalcounter space.

Often the things that have the most value or quality are small and it's so true that good things come in small packages with this GE Compact Microwave. This GE Compact does EVERYTHING our bigger 24w x 16h used to, New power is 700W and old was 1100W -- who cares, just wait 45 SECONDS longer!! The space is saves is fantastic.

Exactly what I was looking for. Needed to replace my bulky microwave with a smaller one. This one looks great and a fits a dinner plate. It does takes longer to heat food but that was expected because of the size.
