It is only 900 watts, a fact I could not find on the site before I ordered. It works as advertised but you must extend cooking time by 30-50% over what a food product suggests due to the low power. The "stainless" cabinet is anything but, every finger mark shows and is a real nuisance to clean off. Sadly I waited too long to return it. Be sure to read the return policy before you purchase on this site.

Was so impressed that I purchased another one for the kitchen when that one went out shortly after this purchase. Best Buy was out of stock so I had to purchase the 2nd one elsewhere, that's how impressed we were with this model.

The 950 wattage requires a few more minutes to heat my food. A wattage of 1000 watts would be better. My old microwave was 1000 watts. The turntable size is perfect for most of my dishes that I heat up. Quiet to operate.
