Its entire shell is stainless steel. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. I got it to replace an old GE counter top microwave that id had for probly 15+ years that had finally burnt out. That said, i wish id sprung for the slightly larger, next level up GE microwave. My last oven was 1100 watts, this one is only 950, and its noticeable. I have to add 15-20 seconds of cooking time to what im used to. Not a deal breaker, but i would have gotten the next level up if id known how much of a difference it was.

We had this microwave for less that one and a half months and it stopped working. Took it back to the store that refused to give credit or replace it. They said you have to buy an extended warranty. I will never buy anything from Best Buy again nor will I recommend them to anyone else. All I can say is "Buyer Beware!"

Nice little microwave

Looks nice with the stainless steel and black. Lots of settings...potato, beverage etc. Continues a short reminder beep when done but door hasn't been opened yet.
