So far it has worked well. The buttons require more pressure than on our previous GE unit, so we had to put something under the feet so it doesn't slide around on the counter ever time a button is pushed.

Second Time I've bought this model

We burn through microwaves in our house, usually replacing them every 3 or 4 years. We had this model time before last, when it died, we bought a Panasonic. POOF! The Panasonic only lasted a year. Went back to this GE. This model fits our built in cabinet perfect and has lots of room.

Occasionally I have to manually enter the cook time because the sensors do not respond to my touch without my doing so.

It's large enough to fit some of my larger dishes but small enough that it doesn't take up too much space. It runs well, and so far, cooks everything evenly.

Now if this on will last half of what my old microwave did I will be a very happy camper

It heats quicker and the whole family enjoys using it. We had our old GE for years and know this one will be just as good. The stainless steel matches our refrigerator.

Great Microwave

This microwave's settings really work - the fresh vegetable and frozen vegetables settings cook perfectly. I am able to cook all sorts of things in this microwave that I used to bake in the oven. Only 4 stars for these two reasons: It died after 18 months (it was replaced throught the Geek Squad protection plan) and it is so powerful that I cook almost everything on power '8'.
