The reason for the 4 stars. I've had this model in the past. Probably lasted for about 6 years up until I started getting a blown fuse internally. I'd have to disassemble the microwave and replace the fuse. After replacing it numerous times per month. I thought I'd buy a new one. This microwave is pretty easy to use and works well in the over the range area. Not sure why the blown fuses but still a good product.

Previous over-the-range GE microwave stopped working after 15 years. Wanted to stick with GE so no modifications would be needed to reinstall new microwave. The old one was white. The new microwave is stainless steel. What a difference the stainless steel makes in my kitchen! It looks classy! I like the features, it is quieter and seems to heat food faster. I am very pleased with the price, the style and the functionality.

I hope that it lasts a while. I am replacing a microwave from 1994 that was still going strong only replaced for cosmetic reasons. So far it works great. Installation was a little annoying with templates they give. I found it easier to just pull out a ruler measure where the holes are going for brackets and too bolts. Overall it works great.. we rarely use it for anything more than a 2:00 minute cook.. serves our needs well.

Replaced a premium model with this one and we are much happier. It is easier to clean, and is quieter. Like the simple, functional design.

Great microwave for the price. Be advised though that the clock/timer numbers are very bright. And I wish the touchpad buttons had somewhat brighter writing. But it does a great job of cooking and reheating.
